Called on a Monday night at 8:30 pm, did leave message. Phone number 617-581-1051

They just called (after 8:30 pm) and wanted me to confirm my name; and said they couldn't talk to me unless I confirmed my correct name as it was regarding a private matter. If they call me and don't even know my name - it's a fake nuisance call!

I got a robo type call from CCS Credit Collection Services. You know the one, long pause, click, hello I’m Joe Blow.  I must say that it was the most polite professional call I have ever received.  Caller quickly determined from information I “gave” him that he was calling the wrong number.  Quickly stated that he would update his records, although we can never be quite sure what they might be doing with that info of course.

We will see if they keep calling like others have reported!

Agents do not send anything to collections.

They ask for the person then when you ask who's calling, they say I try back at another time. and hangs up

Called me and asked for me by married name. I have never gone by my maiden name.

This number has been calling the house and I let the answering machine pick up not one message left. The number has been calling for over a week but I never answer. I will block it now.

I have noticed this same coming up a couple of time a day; daily. It is quite annoying. I then decided to google the number to see if it was a scammer!

Yes they are fake. I don't even have Geico or Farmer's insurance.

Insurance companies don't hire outside collection agencies and they don't call people, they notify you through the mail. It's a scam.
