i'm sick of portfolio breaking the law with these nuisance calls. however the FBI or the POLICE  doesn't anything about them..i know it is a big SCAM. but nothnig happen..what's going on FBI?..please put them behind the jail as soon as possible pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

keeps calling and asking for a name i can not identify....i advised to stop calling or i would sue....a female on other end very rude.........

harassment charges are about to be filed.  they are the rudest people that accuse you of owning accounts u've never had.

Rude and vulgar people stating they were from a company called Portforli Recovery.  They demanded to speak to a person whom I have never heard of.  I have persisted to state that this person is unknown to me yet they continue to call and harass 15-20 times per day!  Their language is quite vulgar an dgraphic and their attitude is obnoxious and threatening!

Don't take them seriously, citi took sued me for 4000 dollars, I went to court with no lawyer and denied the debt was mine, they scheduled another hearing which once again they sent no attorney either since its too expensive for them to fly lawyers to every state for every unpaid debt. So the judge dismissed the case and I'm free and clear

These people are just looking for money...I am finally clear of debt and they are calling me on some supposed debt from over 18 years ago...I know this because I changed my last name 18 years ago...They are fraud beware!!!!!!!

DON'T ever answer this call.  Get call blocking.  The have called me about debts that aren't mine, same last name.  Called me about debts from my deceased father.  That was the final straw, so I ignore them.  If I do pick it up.  I play stupid, like the dudes from Howard Stern and they hang up.  Might as well have some fun and run up their bills.  They get so frustrated they sometimes get obscene. I tape the calls, so I can one day use them in court.  I can say anything, but they have to obey the law.  The debt in question is a 22 year old debt that was actually my brothers who use my ID to get a phone.  I tried to get the phone company to void the debt, but they wouldn't do it unless I pressed charges against my brother.  He was in a bad place at the time, drugs, but has cleaned up his life and has a wonderful family.  The debt has been written off for years, but these dirt bags bought it for pennies on the dollar and try to collect.  Legally debts not paid are collectible unless written off in bankruptcy or legal action.  Once another scum bag company tried to settle the debt for $50 and promise to end collections. But if you do this then they can put it back on your credit report for up to 7 years  So never pay any debt over 5 years old.  They will call you till the day you die or when our elected officials stop taking money from these scumbags and pass real consumer protection laws.  Why doesn't PRA try to collect the money from AIG or Enron. Oh wait, they are neighbors and thier kids go to school together.  Shame on our government for allowing this type of junk debt collection to skirt the law.  Yes, you should pay your debts, but so should our government and corporations.

They are calling my childs cell phone number and don't understand why are they calling a minor and asking them questions and being nasty towards them.  when the child ask who is this they got an attitude and did not identify themselves their number is 620.662.8870

This number and bunch others keep calling. I called one back and either they don't answer or its a recording of a "school" that I supposedly requested school info. I filled out nothing about a school. I am supposed to be on a do not call list from these type of people

We received the call from 620-662-8870 (Portfolio Recovery) from my evil psycho neighbor from HELL in West Omaha, NE. They have been harrassing us for 3 years, because they are JEALOUS of us and everything we have. When the evil neighbor called us by using this phone number (620-662-8870) on their cell phone, they hang up immediately. They can dial any numbers & company names they want on their cell phones and blocked their phone numbers, but we know it is them. My neighbor's old looking 52 year old son lied to people that his mother has Alzheimer's disease, but she doesn't have it. The son wanted the dumb people to feel sorry for her even though she doesn't have it. She is just a evil jealous old witch.

I never answer numbers that I don't already know who the caller is.... Who Calls Me is a great resource...
