    Weird how people are saying this is a genuine American Express number but yet I do not have a American Express card, so why are they calling me?

    It is not legit. If you give them any information, I would freeze your credit immediately (with all three major credit reporting agencies). Without thinking, I gave them my social security number to look up my information and I was promptly disconnected after they had my social.  My phone number has now been blocked and they will not receive my calls.

    Freeze your credit!!! Don't wait for these jerks to do any harm to your credit report.
