Report a phone call from 630-505-3008 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- BethWe've been getting calls from this number for the past five hours EVERY 15 MINUTES!!! No one is ever on the other end. I called back the number and left them a message telling them I am filing a complaint against the company and to remove our number. We, too, are on the DNC list. Very intrusive to say the least.
- Caller: Kantor Operators (not sure of spelling)
- GonzoBastardI got all the information below from the whocalled.us listing for this number. Included below are telephone and fax numbers (when available), as well as email addresses. Put them to good use.

Naperville, IL USA - BethThank you, Gonzo. I intend to do so. We are at our wit's end. The calls are still coming and it's going on 9pm. This last one makes 27 since 1pm today. Every 15 minutes another call comes in. If it doesn't stop we're going to have to disconnect our phone. Even if we weren't on the DNC list or if it didn't apply to them, this can't be legal. I'm seeking compensation for emotional distress!!
- Caller: Kantar Operations
- maria penathey call at least once a week

- DeWat630-505-3008 called at 6:13 pm EST on 6/5/2008. Caller identified himself as "Stephen" {sp} with "The Research Value Company". I promptly hung up and filed an online with the FCC for violation of the Do Not Call List.
- Caller: The Research Value Company
- SadButTrueAs someone who has dealt with telephone research companies before, I hate to inform most of you of a few things. First is that the DNC lists don't apply to companies that ONLY do research. If you can supply or at least SOME evidence that they tried to sell you something, then and only then has such a business violated the DNC laws. Sorry, but true. Ask if they are going to try to sell you something. By law they are REQUIRED to tell you (believe it or not, there are SOME companies that won't try to sell you anything). Generally, if you mention that their company is violating the law by calling, they explain it the best they can (at least the people I've talked to). Also, since not picking up the phone hasn't helped, try picking it up and asking for a supervisor (and get their name and the name of their supervisor!) like you would with any other business. Tell the person you get (especially the super) to just remove your number from ALL of their lists. I've been told that large companies sometimes have multiple lists and that some people can end up on more than one. Finally, as irritating as these calls can be, the person on the other end of the phone is just getting a paycheck and this is just a job for them. It's not a personal vendetta against you. Try to remain calm when on the phone and scream afterwards (if you feel the need).
- SadButTrueHaving just read some more posts, for those who pick up but no one is there, some companies have a 3 or 4 ring limit, then they hang up and call again later. Also, they may have a computer calling your number which means that it will take a short period of time for the computer to connect a person up to you. Please read my previous post about other things that may help.
- InfoFrom Fedral Trade Coommission
Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008. More than 157 million phone numbers are on the National Do Not Call Registry.
Under the Act, the Federal Trade Commission will continue to remove telephone numbers that have been disconnected and reassigned to other customers. Consumers can delete their telephone numbers from the registry at any time by calling 1-888-382-1222 (TTY 1-866-290-4236) – the call must be made from the telephone number they wish to delete.
The Do-Not-Call Fee Extension Act of 2007 also was enacted, setting the annual fees telemarketers will pay to access the registry in fiscal year 2009 at $54 for each area code of data accessed or $14,850 for access to every area code in the registry, whichever is less. Telemarketers may access the first 5 area codes of data at no charge, and certain exempt organizations will continue to access all data at no charge. For each fiscal year beginning after fiscal year 2009, the fees will be increased at the rate of change of the consumer price index, unless the change is less than 1 percent, in which case the fees will not be adjusted.
MEDIA CONTACT: - heatherthe caller asked a handful of questions about home usage. such as "do you have internet/cable and if so what kinda? is there television in the home?" do you share the responsibilities of the home with other household members? whats the yearly income of the home? do any jobs of the household consist of consumer relations etc.?" it was completed very quickly. for those of you that are already on a do not call list and are stressed by the calls i would suggest taking a few moments to answer these questions so they wont call back because their numbers are generated randomly. goodluck everyone
