That number calls daily.  We are disabled and do not appreciate the time spent trying to get to the phone..

this number calls and leaves no messages

I received a call from this number four or five times and it's the same person, she is a little rude and she just ask for the CEO of the company. I asked which company is she from and she said that she is conducting a random survey regarding our internet or telecommunication provider.

This number was on my caller ID but no message was left.  If this is a research company I'm disappointed to see that they're able to call on a Sunday.

called at 5:30, dinnertime wanting me to take a survey, when I asked how she got my cellphone she sheepishly declined to devulge that info. I than asked do you still want to survey me?

My wife had just finished a survey for Wal Mart after a recent buy and this call came.  Must be a research company for Wal Mart!!!

Every couple of days I receive a call from this number.

Get calls 2 times a day at least. Never leaves a message

The company is Millward Brown.  They are a public company that does Media Research.  I called their media contact from their website, Heather Stern at 212 548 7271.  SHe was not happy I called, however she agreed to take me off the list.

1.  This company conducts market research (surveys).  These are NOT telemarketing calls so they are not legally bound by the National Do Not Call List.

2.  The phone numbers they call are provided by their clients (I.E they are conducting a survey for Wells Fargo, so Wells Fargo provides them with the call list) - this explains why the interviewers don't generally know "how they got your number?".

3.  If they call you and no one answers the phone then, like all logical human beings, they assume no one is home and so they try again later.  If you don't want them to keep calling you every day then pick up the phone you idiot.

4.  The calls originate from a call center which only makes outgoing calls and therefore they don't leave a message because there is no number to leave for you to return their calls.  (some clients pay for a toll-free number so people can return calls, but this is rare)

5.  If you do not want to participate in a survey then simply tell the interviewer "I'm not interested, would you please take me off the list" or something like that.  Most of their clients require a "second effort" so if the interviewer attempts to "rebuttal" you just say again "No thank you. I'm not interested."

It's for a survey/research site. I did sign up for this and it's not telemarketing. I'm a member of several survey sites so I can't even remember which one it's from. According to the voicemail they were just calling to see if I received the materials that were mailed to me.

Same thing happened to me.  I am on the no call list too.  I am reporting them.Computer generated calls should be checked.  Thanks for your posts concerning this number.
