I am on the "no call list", as well as, my number is unlisted.  This call came in from 630-505-3008 with Kantor Ops on my caller ID at 5:56 pm EST.  I won't answer calls that I have no knowledge of the number, as well as I do not know anyone in this area code.  I allowed my voice mail to pick up, but no message was left. This call came in on 12/7/2011.

I do not believe "The Do Not Call Registry" covers companies who are conducting surveys.  The correct terminology to end these type of calls used to be "Remove my name and phone number from your companies calling list."  Do not offer information such as your name and number, they just called you!  If they do not have it, do not encourage them.  If they do not abide by your request, then FCC.gov--The Federal Communications Commission website--has a complaint form online.

1-630-505-3008 called on Friday December 16, 2011 at 7:53p.m.  I also do not answer strange numbers.  I block my number (*67 & wait for the dial tone), and call back (I never speak, I just listen and hang up).  When that does not tell me who they are, I come to this website and read the threads.

Just received a call from this number. If I don't recognize the number I do not answer. After it quit ringing I looked the number up and found your site. They never leave a message. I am on the do not call list - how do they get through?

I received a call from this number 630-505-3008  last night and did not answer because I did not recognize the number.   However, if they call again, I will put them on my block list as I have done so with many others like them.  I, too, am on the so called, NO CALL LIST.  If any of you have a phone company ,such as Century Link,  that will let you add the phone number to a block list by dialing*78, by all means try it.   After using this feature, I never get another call from previous unwanted callers again.

Simple solution to all of these idiots go buy a very cheap fax machine. One that you can manually answer with. You see the number get the fax to pick it up. Their computer will register a fax line and take the number off of it's call list.

Started calling this week 11 calls so far, called 3 times today - started at 8:00 AM nobody on the other end.  Tried calling back and just get busy signal.

Go back to the web page for Nat DNC list, click on complaint and follow the instructions. Report every call, it is a bit time consuming at first but you will see a drop in the # of calls to the point they will eventually stop.  Asking these ppl to take you off there call list does not work, srcreaming at them and using profanity on them doesn't work either.  Use the DNC list complaint form, they get fined $10,000 for each call once they are told to stop, yet continue.

Even thou these calls come from the US, the company is based out of the UK. It is a reasearch company. Not sure how they get the phone numbers they call.

I got a call from them, no message left. I googled the number and then the caller ID.
Because they are head quartered in the UK, they can call any one they want, which I think sux. Our US rules do not apply to them. :-(
If enough complaints are made, the branch here in the US may or may not get a fine. Not sure if anything can be done because they are based out of the UK :-/

I suspect if you do this, you'll start getting on to junk fax lists. These are even worse.

Can you (or anyone else) point to any documented cases where anyone was actually fined for violating the DNC list? I do get fewer calls since I've been on the list, but only up to a point. I think that while many telemarketers are observing the list, a few exceptionally bad eggs have figured out that there are rarely (or never) any real repercussions and just ignore the list. If so, it's only a matter of time before the list becomes useless.

It has been against the law to send junk faxes since the mid-1990s, but when we had a fax machine at work, we received daily faxes for mortgage refinancing and small business loans, which was absurd for a large retailer with over 200 stores.

Yea they call me all the time too,at least once a day and usually around 5:00. I got the random number out of the phone book bit too only i just have a cell phone. When i made that clear to them i got no straight answer back. Hmmm. They still call too i dont answer.

I received a call from this telephone on valentines day 2012. I took the call because my date was in the bathroom at the restaurant we were at. They promised to send me a $25.00 Amazon gift card if I would do a short 2 minute survey, Well they [***] didn't keep their end of the bargain! I followed directions to complete the survey, which was to follow a link on my email to and well the link was bogus. Someone please tell me where this company is located so that I can break everyone's [***] legs there.

They have been calling me too. I say we all start calling them whenever we have a chance. We can collapse there lines with in coming calls.

This number has called a couple of times today and I have previously (months ago) seen it.
