I received a call from this # at 10:19 a.m. on 09/18/09. I've never had the "privilege" of owning a home so have no idea why they'd call me. Citi Mortgage or whomever it is really needs to handle this. I've read posts re this issue from Spring of 08. Ridiculous!

Citibank also services Sears/K-mart accounts.  Whether or not this is CitiMORTGAGE collections, I have been unable to verify.  They claim we're 12 months due.  Checking the balance on the statement, that's wrong.

I just switched my number and I amm receiving phone calls from this phone.  When I answer, it beeps then hang up.

I have an account with Citimortgage but when that number comes up on my caller id on my cell I wont answer it because of being charged long distance fees. I dont recognize the number and no voicemail is left. If no voicemail is left they get a return call either. I dont answer any call if I dont recognize the number.

Put me on the do not call list....again, another eronious phone cal 2 to 3 times a day.... Knock this s... off.....

I have just contaacted the Texas Attorney General's office and have filed a complaint. They are in the process of shutting Citibank Morttage Co down on these phone call to people that do not have an account. The big federal dogs are on the hunt for Phone number 636 262 2484. Remember the the car warinity scam, weel its about to hit Citi Mortage!

receiving calls on cell from this # -- two days in a row -- not in arrears - after reading all this it must be harassment!! Not going to call them + don't know how they got the cell##!

Don't give out your personal info to anyone who calls you. This call is clearly not from Citi, but from some bad guys phishing for your bank account or social security numbers.  If they were legit, they'd already have these.

just got a new phone and soon as it was charged up, got a call from this number. I have never owned a home, rent only, and have never had a credit card with them. I will let it go to voice mail, but THEY never say a word. Glad I found this site.

It's a scam using a spoofed Caller ID for Citi. Don't give them info!

Please, everyone who gets a call from this number, call the FBI or report it using the FBI website. Also, complain to Citi.

This is likely a phone spoofing scam. If you gave any account info, I'd be especially quick about calling the FBI.

received a call from this number....told them not to call us back and then started receiving calls from another fraud number right after...very shady!

I have gotten numerous calls from this number.  I do have a mortgage through Citi but this number never leaves a message or the call drops after 2 rings.  If it was the mortgage company, I would think they would leave a message.

I get the same calls Citi mortgage i have all ways payed in between the grace period due to change in when i get paid.But here is the real kicker i all ways tell them the first time they call every month and then i am told that it will be a notice of the call so they will not call again.
It is nothing but a lie they call me 3 to 4 time a day in till i pay them and i am about ready to sue them for harassment.

I called this number back. They say if you are calling about servicing your Citi mortgage, to call 800-283-7918. I did that, and then randomly punched in numbers of all sorts, which EVENTUALLY got me to the part where they routed me to a human. Nice lady and all, but I'd be surprised as hell if it's legit. I informed her that they are calling a federal agent six and eight times a day with NO ONE EVER BEING ON THE LINE when he answers, and suggested STRONGLY that they cease and desist. Honestly, I have no idea if we have an account with Citi or not, but regardless, we're not late, so whoever is behind these calls is full of it. I think I might have mentioned federal agent a few more times. And the cease and desist part. And the 'he's really pissed off now, which is why I'm calling' part.

So we'll see. She said, "we can't look up an account by a phone number". I said, "you can't look up an account that doesn't exist, either, but I suggest you figure out where that phone number is currently existing and ERASE it." Lots of stuttering later, she asked for ten days while they "clear it". Uh huh. I wonder if they are packing up shop now.

Calls up to 4 time a day from this number to my cell phone.  Sometimes it's Ka-ching cash register sound, sometimes it's recorded message looking for someone named Curry, sometimes no one's there, once it was a live person & I said they had wrong number and quit calling.  Now the calls are more frequent than ever.  I thought it was scammers but I called CitiMortgage & they said it is one of their numbers.

I found out from a savvy broker that, the company that calls you is charging the note holder $100 per call regardless of whether or not you you pick up, one of the biggest scams in the mortgage industry, you then will get charged this amount to the back end of your mortgage if you are keeping your house, if your letting it go, you dont have to worry about it.

i'm an 18-year old kid with no house and no mortgage that i know of, I got a call from this number, they did not leave a message or anything.

they did know my name but did tell me anything about them self.
