Received several calls from this number in the last few weeks. Usually no response after I answer, maybe some beeps and clicks. Today I got a hello and then it faded away.

The telephone number 636-261-2484 IS the Citi Mortgage Collections Department

this numbers has called me everyday for the past two weeks.  I finally answered it yesterday and today but no one is on the other end.  How do i get off their call list?

No person, no recorded message, just a hang up when I answer.   Occasionally there is a voice which asks for Bob, but hangs up immediately when I say Bob is not here.

I received phone calls daily from the 636 number as well as from citimortgage.  I have expressed to them numerous times that the individual they want changed his number and now it belongs to me.

The last time I received a call from citimortgage the gentleman told me to fax a letter to this number 866-675-5772 explaining to them that I request my number to be removed from the call list.  

I have not received a call since I submitted the fax.

This number is from the dark side of C M.....they are hateful.....give them hell.....

I have been a customer with CitiMortgage for 10 years. I always pay my mortgage payment between the 14th - 16th online or by phone for the last 10 years.  All of a sudden, the last couple months, I started receiving 'reminder' calls after the first of each month reminding me that my mortgage is late and when can I make a payment? I tell them they will receive my payment by the 15th or 16th as I have been paying for 10 years. I tell them to leave me alone and stop calling me as I consider it harrassment. Yet, they still call me on my cell phone. I called them back today and said that they need to stop harrassing me or I will be talking to a lawyer about harrassment. They then said I can send a "cease & desist" letter and transferred me around and put me on hold for 20 minutes but I never got anyone on the phone.  I feel like I should not have to send a cease and desist letter if I am not delinquent, in default and my account is not in collections.  How can I stop this? Is there any legal actions I can take on them???

It's just CitiMortgage, not any department in particular. It's not just their collections, it's a phone number for general Citi calls. We have an account with them & it was our loan adjuster calling with an update on our HARP II status. If you're paranoid about them calling because you don't think you have a Citi account, just call them back & talk to someone about it. Could also be that your mortgage company sold your account to them, so just call them already!

On 2/28/13 I received 15 calls between 1:15pm to 2:41pm on a single day.

I have received several voicemails from someone leaving the call-back # of 888-671-4581; he does not say why he is calling or from where he is calling. Both voicemails have said briefly, "You need to give me a call about your mortgage." It's creeping me out because my mortgage is not through them, nor have I ever had any accounts with them, and my mortgage through my other bank is auto-deducted on the first of each month and so therefore never late. This must be a scam. When I called the # he left, I got a computerized message thanking me for calling Citi Mortgage and that no reps were currently available and it disconnected.

My CitiMortgage consultant has a very similar phone number. 636-261-8###.
