- AnaWe keep getting calls from this number. If there is anyone on the line, they ask for our son. We tell them that I does not live here and ask them to stop calling. They keep insisting that I should take their number. I have told them if they don't stop calling I will report them. Sure hope somebody can do something to stop these people from harrassing people.
- EbonyEveryday!!!! I get a call from a male named Chris looking for a Eugene Hawks, and everyday I tell him "I have no idea who a Eugene Hawks is, your calling my cell phone, please STOP". Chris is a very rude guy he calls from a 636-947-2321 number.I call back very upset because the calls are soooo annoying, and I can here them laughing as if it's funny. He called me at 8:00am,and in the same day turned around, and called me at 8:30pm. I asked him was he aware of the FDCPA ,and let him know that he was breaking that law,He ask me if i wanted to speak to his supervisor. He kinda chocked up a little because debt collectors don't think people are aware of this law,and they get a lot of lawsuits for Harrasing people ,and being in violation of the FDCPA..
I will definitly move foward with this since they think it's funny to harras people who have nothing to do with what they are calling for...- Caller: Client Services
- luving lifei was interested in finding out about this number. what i found out was that there are some judgmental idiots who think they can sit in judgment of other people. To them i simply say, get a college degree, get a life, and lose some of your anger.
- LenThey have been calling my home, my work and my cell phone for several months. I do owe a balance on a gasoline card and the first call started out fairly pleasant with a guy named "Mike". I explained to him that I'd probably be able to enter into some kind of payment agreement, but I couldn't commit to anything until my bookkeeper returned from lunch. I assured him that I'd call him back later that day once I had an answer. As we were hanging up, he asked me what time of day it was, then answered his own question "Oh, I see it is nearly 3:00 your time. I find it a little hard to believe that your bookkeeper is taking her lunch so late in the day". My first reaction was to explain to him that she took it at this time so she could go to a doctor's appointment, but then caught myself. I responded with "Look, I don't have to justify when or why she chooses to take her break. If you want me to work with you, then cut the crap and work with me".
My bookkeeper worked for a collection agency several years ago and knew exactly what to do with this joker. When she called him back, she played him at his own game and backed him into a corner. He then got rude with her and started with the threats. She then informed him that she demands that he return the debt to the original card company. He refused and she managed to get in touch with his supervisor. This person, while equally-rude, told her that she will take care of this request. This never happened, despite the several months that have passed.
They call my three numbers at least three times per day, usually within a one-hour time frame per number. I've learned to ignore their calls, but I can confirm that they do call well-outside of the legal hours. This morning, the first call arrived to my cell phone at 7:15 AM. I have removed the voice mail feature from my cell phone to save myself the cost of a completed incoming call, but it is at the inconvenience of callers I actually want to hear from.- Caller: None shows
- PeteThese clowns call my wife's cell twice a day. no message. 13 calls. I just called them to leave a message

- dudeCapital One sold my deliquent Visa charge card to Client Services... that I can not pay now due to my job closing down a year ago.
Try this...I coded my cell phone to tell me when they call and they did call frequently. I answer the phone with another name other than my own and told them very professionally about 4 or 5 times over a two day period that nobody with that name is here and it's a new assigned number.
They went away after that about a month ago, then started up again yesterday and I am doing the same thing again.
Nobody needs to deal with pushy nefarious commissioned bottom feeding devils who will do anything they can to gouge you and upset you to make their money split (The charge cards only want 30 cents on the dollar at this stage and I plan to settle direct someday with Capital One only!) ... by pulling your chain to trip you up,get you scared or angry just to collect money for the over priced ripoff charge card that just tack on tons of junk fees when you get behind like pirates.... in this down stressed market, espcially when you are living on savings and trying to find a job. be well all..Dude - ktmThey keep calling me at work. I tell them this is a business phone and they keep calling. They call my cell phone But won't leave a Message.Client Services(636-947-2321)
- MelleIf this number is violating your status on the Do-Not-Call registry, you can complain here: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
- doodlebugOkay, so I know I owe the credit card companies money, but frankly, they are at the bottom of my list to honor. I tried to speak with them professionally and rationally until the *@#)ole that called me said I should "buy a paper and look for a job." If I could have gone through the phone I would have strangled him. Wonder how he would fare if there were enough complaints against him to warrant his termination? Even after I calmly explained to him that I was not eligible for unemployment benefits since I have been an independent contractor for the last 6 years, he talked to me like I was trash.
- Aint Paying jack! They just called me but I didn't answer because I didn't know the number so I googled them.. Glad I had a chance to read you guys comments. I can't wait for them to call me again. I'm going record it, to tell them I don't have the money, wait for them to act ignorant and post it on youtube. Then I'm going to report their stinking [***]!

- StephanieI received a call from this number asking me to give a message to my neighbor/landlord. I turned the tables on them and asked if they were going to use Visa, MasterCard, Amex or EBT. The lady was confused and asked what I meant. I told her that my time was MINE and to waste it on doing HER job was going to cost them $100 an minute. It would take me 5 minutes to get down there, 10 minutes to give the message and 5 minutes to get back, then asked for her card number and expiration date. She hung up and has not called since.
- papasamoneThese people don't know when to stop the phone calls. They put a block on the name of the caller or the company calling. They use a computer with a recording machine. If a person can't pay a bill and they are a collection agency. They should be a bit more compassionate. Some of us don't have the money to even buy groceries or medicine. I will be calling the Attorney General to complaint about this.
- SmootThey just called me and asked if I had a neighbor that they were looking for. THis call was not even about me. THey tried to get me to give them info on a neighbor that I dont even know. The lady told me that "his grandmother gave her the number". They have now involved a third party (me) in this thing. I told her not to get me involved, and she said that she did nto get me involved. I said "you just called me. That is getting me involved." 800-521-3236 ext 4748- Jane douche

- lizThis number calls my office everyday looking for someone that does not work here. Every day I tell them, "there is no one here by that name" Everyday they call back. This morning I got angry and explained this is a place of business and I am getting tired of repeating myself. The lovely little operator told me to "um calm down"... If I could have gone through the phone I believe I would have... We will see how much I "calm down" tomorrow when they of course call again asking for the same person!!
- cashuinCalls several times a day-all week, 7 days, but never leaves message on answering machine. I don't know if there is some law or something but others like GE DO leave a message. It is very frustrating and annoying!
Does anyone know if debt collectors are required to leave a message AND if the are supposed to call Monday thru Friday and only from 8AM to 9PM? I can not seem to get clarification on this. Also, if it is a business is it not REQUIRED that their name show up on caller ID? Curious to know these answers. TIA- Caller: unknown
- Nancy PinterI am being harassed by these people. I do not owe them any money. They are looking for someone that I bought property from about 8 years ago & have not seen them since. They are calling a few times a week & in spite of what I have told them they keep calling.
