I received an e-mail from him on The Sales Ladders asking me to contact him. I returned his e-mail giving him my cell phone number but have not heard anything. Does anyone know anything about this company?

I just spoke with Chip Emory. He said someone in his firm was using his Ladders account. Asked me to send my CV to him to his direct e-mail address. We'll see what happens.....

Then why was the initial call to me never followed up. Why were my emails to 'Bromley' and 'Chip' not answered if there is nothing to hide. And what would you know about the Irish Republic 'Carl'? Maybe I shoudl give you a call at Ridgetop for some more information ;-)

Do some online investigation and see how much bad press these guys get. This forum only produces a defence from people with a conenction to them and I believe their critics cannot all be simply be classed as people with a grudge.

Expect a post from 'Carl' soon ;-))

Oh yeah - you noticed that I mentioned Belfast? Not in the Irish Republic so not sure what my nose has to do with their troubles!

Chip- I have no problem with someone reaching out to me via linked in using linkedin e-mail while appropriately labeling themselves as a research consultancy.  I have an ENORMOUS problem with you labeling yourself a recruiter on the Ladders and accessing my personal information via that route.  I have reported you to the Ladders and they are investigating you.

Actions like these are why you give people the impression that you are attempting to defraud people.  If you are legit, and I suspect you are not, then why not go the ethical route.

Still waiting a call from Bromley or Chip to put me right as to their intentions, which apparently has been the case with other posters questioning their intentions. I was contacted in the same way - because my details had been accessed under the guise of a recruiter

I recently was contacted via e-mail by a research company "Ridgetop Research" asking me for a call to discuss a possible consultancy agreement for phone call consulting in a specific business field within I have made a name for myself.

Does anyone made any experiences with this company and is this a serious one?

    Thanks
    Jay

Received a voice mail today from a Bill Healy @ Ridgetop Research saying that he found my profile on LinkedIn and they would be interested in speaking to me about a consulting job.  Does anyone know who he is or what this company is up to?

Received an e-mail about two months ago, inquiring if I am interested in telephone consulting. Promptly submitted all the info that time and haven't heard anything yet, let alone a consulting job offer. Certainly not a job one could rely on. They might be legitimate but not very reliable in regards to communication and follow up.

Truthfully, nobody seems to know....If you are serious about consulting this is not one of the companies to work with. I am working with other consulting companies and my experience with them certainly does not mirror my experience with RidgeTop.

The industry standard appears to be somewhere in the $250-$350 per hour range. Unless I sold my knowledge way too cheap :-)

Like many of you, I thought this was a scam at first too but I spoke with Chris and liked him.  I've had one 45 minute phone conversation regarding my industry and was paid with 10 days... I'm very impressed.

Curious as to what you've been paid.  Just got a call and am anxious to make some money?  Can you share a rough estimate and what you were asked to do?  Also curious about what someone wrote about submitting information.  What information do you have to submit?

Interesting pattern here: a few posts criticising/questioning this 'company', then, one saying how great it is and how they were paid on time etc

What a pain in the neck to have to consistantly validate your services from blind inquiries.
