I got the same IRS scam from this number. The best thing to do is call them and tell them you are a CPA and that you know the IRS does not leave voicemails stating they are filing a lawsuit. They will hang up on you. Call them back and say oh you are you going to hang up on me again? They will hang up on you again. Call again and they will block your number! :-)

IRS scammed.  Had lots of calls from them and lots of different numbers.  Same message from all different numbers.  Unidentified numbers go unanswered!!

Got call, I.D. shows New York, NY, 646-568-1992, claiming to be officer of IRS.  Have been trying to reach me, they are filing a lawsuit against me.  I am to call 844-490-0728 immediately.   Yeah, right.  IRS doesn't call people on the phone.

Same!  Called from 646-568-1992 and left a message saying they were the IRS, lawsuit, blah, blah, blah.  Call back number was 844-490-0728.

I got this call again from 646 568-1992.  IRS scam.  I called the number back and a recording said the number was no longer in service.

I received the same call from this number saying the IRS had a lawsuit against me and telling me to call them at 315-913-0169.  Pure Scam.

got a call from this number saying there was a lawsuit filed by the IRS.  ABSURD

Received a telephone call from an "officer" with the IRS stating the IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me. The message said to call department 3159130150.

Yawn.  Same feral subhuman [***], same fake IRS scam call.  Different number and different callback number.  Wish that this were truly the last call they were trying to make to me.  Scam.

The IRS does not call ever. They only send correspondence by snail mail

I've been getting a lot of these calls lately, and it looks like other folks have as well. I usually call back and waste some of their time, but this time they hung up before I was able to sell them a used car.

Received a recorded message on August 22, 2016 from this number that said the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I needed to call immediately.  Received another recorded message today, September 15, 2016 from a Carlsbad, New Mexico number (575-499-5381) and it said basically the same thing, except that this was the final call.    I wish they would quit calling along with all the other random calls I get from all over United States.
