I have a name card of someone by the name of Lionel Heng, Wealth Director of Nax Capital. My brother showed it to me after he was sold preference shares in nixdorf. His story is much the same with many of you in this forum. In trying to get his initial investment in time-share back, he was duped into buying more and more preference shares in Nixdorf with promises that his redemption of his earlier subscriptions including his timeshare value was on the way. The subscription amount will get increasingly larger. The last subscription he was required to make was for usd 50k! The family finally found out but was too late to stop the last partial payment by credit card, even when we contacted the banks the very next day.  My brother went back and pleaded with Lionel to cancel but as to be expected from someone all out to get you to part with your money, he refused. He even threaten legal action for the balance that my brother was supposed to pay. We are not paying and have sought legal advice. We have also made a police report.  If you are in the same boat, please make a police report so that it can be escalated to CAD.

With the recent attention on The Consumer Protection ( Fair Trading) Act (thanks to the Sim Lim shops), and  AGC working with the police, I think as a group, we could also present a case to seek some protection under this Act?  We are evaluating how best to go about it.  If you would like to be a part of this or have any feedback, please email me at sh4fair@gmail.com.

To all following this case,
My brother updated me that the customer care office of Nixdorf-Ax contacted him and acceded to his request for cancellation.  He spoke to a senior manager, Mr Alex, who said they are processing his refund. Will my brother get his credit card charges reversed? Watch this space for further update.

I am also a victim of the same company. I have reported to CAD and planning to plead to the MP in my constituency. Will you be like to contact me at 96494915

As of today, no refund. They sowed hope; but no action. You will hear from me if any amount is received by my brother. Keep watching this space.

There is someone reporting in another weblink about Nixdorf Preferential issue. Do take note and expect the worst.
I have also received call from HPA asking me to their office at Lumiere Building near Anson Road where I was told that I can redeem my investment but have to pay some legal and admin fee to the Philippine government which I refuse to do so and furthermore it is via the third party company HPA.

I also got the "preferential" shares from nixdorf ax and was contacted by hpa. I would be getting a whopping 130.000 dollar back if I parted with another 22.000 to pay the Philippine government (because it's more than 50k). I told them, keep the rest, just give me my 50k. But obviously that wasn't an option... Do NOT fall for this. It's utter [***]!  I have been in contact with Joanne and have been delayed over and over again, until last Friday when they sent me a letter that the marketing company in Singapore is not responsible blah blah. And I need to take it up with the Pilipine company (while the contract is in BVI?).  Fearing the worst...

I must say that I am grateful to have read all your posts.  This Nax Capital - Mark called me up.  Wanted to schedule for an appointment to transfer my timeshare.  I got a hunch that this is another scam so I think I will not go and waste my time with them.

HPA is still lingering around cheating ppl of their money piggyback on the promise of redemption done on behalf of NAX Capital. Do not fall for it. NAX Capital claims they have nothing to do with HPA and will threaten to sue for breach of contract. I bet they are all working in cahoots to cheat us all of our hard-earn money.

Nax capital (May) keep calling me to make an arrangement to visit Nax Capital at Harboufront Centre for the past 1 month. Initially I have confirmed the appointment but cancelled it due to fever. Today I got the call again and confirmed tomorrow appointment. However, after browsing through the article published in The Straits Times by CASE on Aug 13, 2015, I decided to cancel it.
Did anyone ever visit Nax Capital for Timeshare buy back? Any success story on the buy back offer by them?

pls dont answer any call start from +44 saying what from london uk...a speical asia team was ask to work in the morning to call time share owners to registe,r what singapore sign up centre...all crabs....they just fish u down or ask u sign what liabilty form...to protect u being sue....all crabs....u already register..cant even get any $$ back...still sign form at the end they hard sell u other products, i was too navie to listen..when i first received a caller sound like a chinese aunty say from uk...rubbish...singaporean can travel to uk just to do tele markerter....what the crab....they say singapore office will contact u, but they not dare to say from AJ cxxxxxxxxx cxxxxxx...they just say from sign up centre, if they say fm AJ cxxxx cxxx u will run away .....so stay away pls, we already lose so much $$...stay away...

hi better dont go down, i experience 2-3 times, go to 3rd party compANY  ,,pay n pay at the end...no trust on them, the last time i went is ocbc building, aft that they shift to suntect tower 3, 42-01, they move one to another ofc, all scam...when i reach there, i say i come for refund i looking for itra in charge, they bring me to a room, 2 ang mo and 1 malay say they represent itra...[***] is aj chater, if i know the company i wont go, they get into case and also another $1 company...[***]....pressure me to invest , i told them i didnt bring money, he ask me to sign and pay later, but in sist dont pay....they show me a sxxx fac espically the botak ang mo call mark...idiot ang mo...con our singaporean hard earn money...why case still sleeping on it....pls take action...dont let them be a refund action scam

Hi, victim, lucky that u realize that, the company is selling time share also, i just dont understand how they still can operate in singapore, this foreigners really very smart. what i know they have moved to Ngee Ann City Tower B #23-01 whatever free refund just igorne it. take care.

Good that you cancelled your appointment. Don't waste time visiting Nax Capital. There is no buy back but a scheme to get you to put in more money into preference shares in some company.  Please don't be conned. My brother got zero money back.  And don't be afraid if they threaten to sue you. I wish they would and then everything can come out in the open in the courts. Then the authorites can see how many victims there are in Singapore and do something about it.
