- JK| 4 repliesI researched this number as I saw a competition ad whereby you give your mobile number and they enter you in a competition free one time only and £2 a week after that.
To stop texts you have to text "STOP" to 66333
I believe that is why lots of people have received these texts and charges.
I think I will pass on this opportunity!- Call type: Text message

- SJC223At the suggestion of T mobile I called MX Telecom on 0844 544 5438 and have asked them to look into giving me a refund. I've been charged £12 for 6 texts which I received. Apparently it was an online competition which I entered which I have no recollection of!

- AGBTexting STOP appears to work. I also called (08445 445438) to complain and ask for a refund as I did not subscribe. They were very curtious and professional and even called me back. I nearly fell off my chair when a cheque for £12 arrived the next day :)

- Joshua ReynoldsThis company has text me 5 times in the last 2 days, offering me things from Ipad prize draws to free lottery draws, very irritating, I have never heard of/contacted this company before, no instruction of how to contact them regarding being removed from their mailing list, don't seem to have a website, I even recieved a text informing me I had won before I'd even recieved a text asking me to enter, doesn't seem to be using any of my credit, still very annoying though

- GCCMy wife received three texts from 66333 in the early hours of the morning so she rang T Mobile and they said sending STOP to the number will stop this but when asked what T Mobile could do about it said that they would put a block on all these kinds of numbers on her phone. Her call the them cost 25p which was money well spent if you are either charged for the texts or get them at ungodly hours. In her case she wasn't.
Other calls to be mindful of are those offerring eg 5 free lotto lines if you accept them they then bill you each week for £1.50 until you tell them to stop.
Always beware of anything free - and never reply to anything you have not asked for.
