Called 2x in a row no message

Got two calls from this number within seconds. I answered the second time. I never answer numbers I don’t know but I did this time. Said “hello” then a few seconds passed and someone said “...I’m sorry” In a creepy crying voice. I asked “who is this?” And then they hung up. I called back because it sounded a lot like someone I knew. But the number wasn’t available and went strait to Verizon audio. Scared the crap out of me so I blocked the number.

The people at this number called three times this morning, but no message. Looks like a scam. Could very well be the Nigerian mafia/crooks at work from a different location.

Similar story to others. Called and after a brief moment a crying voice said “i’m sorry” then hung up.

just got the same thing ... "I'm sorry!" and then nothing.

They called, I answered, someone said "I'm sorry" and hung up.

This is weird that number called me but i didnt pick up and i looked it up (cuz i do whenever someone idk calls me) and found this......

Person called saying "I'm sorry" so I hung up and blocked the number. I'm creeped the hell out, and I have all my calls recorded as I thought something like this would happen. I have the recording.

Got two calls from this number around 6p yesterday but it only rang once. No clue who or what if was. Got same Verizon message. Found this page and I’ve blocked.

Automated "sorry" and then nothing

Scam, same as others. Pick up call, said Its your nickle, lady said I'm sorry and hung up.

I answered. A woman, american sounding, said I'm sorry and hung up. Now I am curious after reading these. What the hell?

Called never left message

Same story. They said "I'm sorry," and hung up.

Said I'm sorry and hung up will not call back.

I just got this call, a male caller said "I'm sorry" immediately and then hung up.  I blocked this call immediately after.

A man called, said "I'm sorry" and then hung up after a few seconds.

It called I answered he said “im sorry” then I hung up

No message
