Called and left no message. Blocked call based off other's comments

Said I'm sorry and hung up

just got a call from this #. they dont say anything.. only got one so far

UNKNOWN caller, immediately looked it up on Google and found all these reports for the number.
It said United States (no city, no state), the area code seems to be from Solomon Islands.  Blocked the @#$%^& caller.
Ladies & Gents, IF YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER ..... DO NOT ANSWER IT!!!!    Simple as that!

Called, I answered, someone said "I'm sorry" and hung up. Strange.

Called at 9:00 AM and did not leave a message. This call came from the Solomon Islands and has to be a scam.

I received the same I'm Sorry message and then a hang up that many others have described. I blocked the call.

They called me and only said "Im sorry"

Thank god for Mr. Number. It auto blocked a call from this number today ( 12/01/2017 at 18:47pm  6:47 for the non military) The number looked odd so I googled and found these reports. This is the time of the year [***] will pry on folks who are in a generous or giving mood. Please be on guard, and never say "yes, ok, go ahead, proceed", or anything else along those lines on a call with someone you don't know they will record you and then use a choppy version of the call to sign you up for all sorts or things, or have new bank/credit cards sent out to them. Best advise don't answer a number you don't know, if it's important they will leave a Voice Mail with contact details.

They also like to go after the elderly, keep an eye on your parents, grandparents and any one else you know that might be easily taken advantage of.

Some of these scammers are good enough they have an algorithm set up that when you call the number back, if if you're told it can't be completed, it sets a virus on your phone or leaves it "open" and they can hack all your information that way. Since we as a society do almost everything on our phones they can get UserName and Passwords for everything from our Banking /Credit Card Accounts, to Facebook and even the phone. This will allow them to hack your accounts and make purchases, set you up for loans, and do all sorts of other Fraud activity on your account.

I answered they told me that they had found my pet snake and it was ok.  They just needed me to wire 200.00 to get the snake back safely.  Ive never had a snake.

Same here.  Just got a call and picked up.  A guy who sounded like he was crying said "I'm so sorry" trailed off and hung up.  Glad I googled before thinking of calling back.

Same as other postings called twice in quick succession. I answered hello and got I’m sorry and then they hung up.  Added to several other hundred of #s on my blocked list

They called, whimpered "I'm sorry." And I hung up because it freaked me out.

Just to clarify, Maryland area code is 667, not 677.

I did not answer. They did not leave a message. Based on the feedback on this page, I will block this number.

They left no message. Now blocked!
