i just wanted to say that this company is a collection agency and  i have spoken to them twice today which is against the fdcpa. i was one that took out payloans and the funny thing is they were paid back. these agents are fraudently saying that they are investigators for a lawfirm and thay they do not have a deputy on duty today. scare tactics. when you have worked for a collection agency such as myself, they are breaking the fdcpa laws to of them. harrassment being one and fraudently identifying who they think they want to be. not okay. so i was reading some of the past posts. and you can see that those that work for the company are not as intelligent as they think they are. i spoke with the ftc today and with all the complaints may be action taken. i spoke with sherriffs department and lodged a complaint i spoke with my congressman and lodged a verbal and working on a written complaint. work with my state representative on a state level and have call the maine attorney generals office. if the past people that have posted there complaints here will group together with me we will have a superior case against this company and we will be the ones taking legal action. i will check these posts daily and im ready to fight these people the correct way. please please join me. and for the peeps that work at this company please continue making yourselves look bad it will be awesome to use in court. have a nice day!

I just recieved a call from this number as well and have no clue as to who or why they would be calling me.  I am glad i found this out.  I have had my credit cards stolen before by a local business' manager. she decided to use my credit card that i had paid a bill with to pay her own...  Of course i found out quickly because i check my records regularly and she was prosocuted!

i received a call from a lady named ivey that worked with this company and told me that i owed a payday loan from back in "05 and i dont think i do i just want to know if anyone has an suggestion in what to do

Said there was an investigation involving my name and SS#, from Nelson, Hirsch and Associates...and to call this number......"very imperative that I call this number"  ==  Left a case number....said his name was Mr. Marcus..........extension 2227

First of all if you were a legitimate company you would know how to spell and use proper english and not type like a child.    Get a real job and life and stop harrassing people jerks.

i just wanted to update some info for you people...this company nelson and hirsch is not a licensed company with the c.c.p....consumer credit protection...phone number 18003328529 if your being harrassed by this company nelson and hirsch please call the 800 number provided. the gentlemen eric i spoke with said that this company wasnt following maine laws and in the state of maine if they are not a licensed agency they are not to call the individual that they are calling. these people called people i havent spokent to in twelve years and calling people that i know. even after having direct contact with me...they are telling these people i have a warrant out for my arrest and the court date has been set. well according to the sheriff i spoke to this morning advised that is not the case and the company even called back while i was on the phone with the sheriff and thats breaking fdcpa law. and i took the call and ms brown said that her supervisor didnt like the way the call went...i said fine im on the phone with the sheriff now and he wanted me to speak to you guys again and put me on with the supervisor and i got nothing...so please help me sue these people if we can get together we can put them down!!!! call that number i referenced if your being harrassed the company will be stopped and ps if rosenthal stein and associates call as well...they are calling on the same debt report it..neither one of them are licensed with the c.c.p and they are supposed to be to call all states

First, if you are going to talk smack to people learn some adequate English and sound professional. It's taken not tooking. That is not even a English word. Tooking. too funny. If your not a scam or a bunch of convicts then go back to school and get a education please before you step to us citizens.

We recieved a call from Nelson Hirsch & Assoc asking for a girl my son dated over 10 years ago.  He never married her & they have no other connection to each other.  They said it was part of a Federal investigation.  When I called back a woman that spoke broken english & couldn't even figure out how to use the phone answered.  I finally spoke to the man in charge, didnt' get his name & he said they were calling about this girl, we'll call her GG... he said they were  investigating her on a Federal matter & my name came up because she used me as a reference.  Why in the world would someone I don't like & haven't seen in over 10 yrs use me as a reference?  He promised to remove my number from his list.  He said he was doing 'clean-up' & everyone was mad at him.

Seriously?  Have you ever heard of a grammar check?  Do you represent this company?  If so, then I feel really sorry for them.

Keep ALL correspondence and every message/letter/call time you receive. After the collector receives your cease and desist letter, they must comply. You can legally pursue them for non compliance.

This company will call and leave messages stating that you are named a suspect for a fraud investigation regarding a previous debt (in most cases, an old payday loan)

They will tell you that if you do not pay the debt immediately, you will have charges filed against you. This is false. They will verbally harass you- to the extreme of yelling and demeaning you on a personal level. Scare tactics folks. ( I have been in this situation previously and I am now in litigation with this and another company using the same method of harassment.)

My "investigator" went by the name of "David Robinson" this may be an alias, as I have yet to locate such an individual in any search.

Be aware of the non legit nature of these people who will tell you every line possible to get you to pay for old debts, You have rights, and this company violates them.

got a call from a Mr Washington saying it was important and about an internal investigation on my sister and I needed to call back to release my name from any further investigation.  I looked up the firm and found this information with the same name/number.  I won't be calling back.

this is what people do when they don't want to pay their debts they put out blogs like this and make threats of making complaints and  they blame everyone else especially those who are trying to help them.....be responsible and do what you need to do and all this ends.

paid this bill or make payment arrangements within 24 hrs. settle my debt. I asked him how long he had this account? He said since,07/21/2010.Today is 07/22/2010.

Nelson Hirsh and Associates contacted (Ms. Williams) my cell phone and stated they were going to file criminal fraud charges against me on behalf of QuikPay Loans. I have never had any dealings with an internet payday loan company. This company is a scam -- DO NOT give them any information at all.  Contact the BBB @ 503 Oak Place, #590, Atlanta GA 30349 and file a complaint. File a complaint with the Attorney General's office as well.  They have 22 complaints filed so far with the BBB and they are ALL unresolved.
