This company called me and threatened me on the phone with 24 hours to call back or they would process suit against me in my state of residence.  It hasnt happened. when i called back they threatened me and got irrate when i asked if it was a scam.  I recently found they are checking my credit.  They are listed as a soft hit that only i can see.  this does not seem right, i dont have accounts with these people

I am so ashamed to admit I worked for Nelson Hirsch & Assoc.  I heard and saw alot of illegal activity and finally got another job.  This company is a pathetic mess that is full of lawsuits and lying and cheating.  Do not pay these crooks your hard earned money.  Spend your money on something important like rent, food and a vehicle.

I received a call from nelson hirsch and associates from a mr broughton who told me that i owed on a payday loan this guy sounded like some crack head from the hood after telling mr broughton that i wanted a validation of debt he told me that the sheriff was comming to aresst me and a warrant was already issued for my arrest i called back and asked to speak to his supervisor i then spoke with a ms robinson after asking her several times for her first name she refused to give it to me but my attorney later found out that her name is Pamela Faye Robinson who works for nelson hirsch and associates and she also has a criminal record with cobb county where she resides my alledged debt is for 520.00 and they are going to issue a warrant for me. Well as it turns out ms robinson was charged with #1 THEFT BY CONVERSION. #2 THEFT BY DECEPTION  #3 REVOCATION PROB this is her case # 00904052 - 28 look it up people she was court orded to pay back restitution to the tune of $17,708.41 google cobb county superior court and search her name pamela robinson now who is the criminal now my attorney is filing suit with the state attorney general as well as with fulton county I have a right to have my social security number and personal information protected from known criminals who have already been convicted of financial crimes. look for pamela faye robinson in cobb county and she is the operation manger at nelson hirsch and assoc my attorney also contacted ez corp as it turns out i only owe 260.00 which the creditor offered close my account as soon as my attorney faxed them a copy of ms robinson's criminal history report and advised them that we would be suing them for releaseng my information to a criminal by the way they can not issue a warrant for anyones arrest.

I received a voice message on 2/11/2011 from NELSON & HIRSCH to call them back. A case number was provided, that the issue was an issue with a posting against my Socail Security Number and that if I did not call back, they would "Final Review" the situation and let it procede.  After reading most of the posts, I am NOT going to return the call.  Thanks all prior people for sharing your experiences, it has saved me trouble and concern.

I been getting phone calls from this company and they keep saying that I own a payday loan so what I did I called the payday loans they said and the people told me I had 1 but I paid it all. Anyhow I gave them all the information about the company to the payday loan company so today they called and I told them don't ever call my phone number again and I told them they are freakin scammers and I told them to stop calling my cell the person in the other line started yelling at me cause I told them I did my research and they are scammers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He got so mad he hung up the phone hahahaha so if anyone gets a phone call from this people don't answer the phone

somehow they got my cell number and my home number saying they have a legal case with a case number pending on their desk and that i needed to call them back by the end of today's business day 6 pm. after researching don't think i'll call back either

Spell check I am not worried about, but for those of you with business about yourself don't be a victim! And if your husband is having credit issues, then maybe you should be a bit more wiser when choosing your men!! No bill collectors call my home, not in foreclosure, cars owned, kids clean, husband educated & debt free!! Now get your weight up.......and clean up your husband's mess...credit issues+martial problems=unhappy hubby=da forced!!! Normally it's not the men with the debt problems...it's ooo's like you & as far as education is concerned MP4 players are a thing of the past!!!

The company is not a fraud your dauther took a loan and didn't pay it back , Are you saying it's not fair for THE COMPANY to call about there money .I feel like if she didn't pay the loan back the next week when she got paid it was fraud and she need to pay for what she did

This number called me and said her name was Julie Smith and said my mother has to call them or her lawyer today.  My mother is totally in incapactated. She is disable and not working... She wouldn't identify her reason for calling.   We gave her the name and number of my mothers lawyer.

You are obviously a very untelligent person. You are in the right job for you....with a bunch of other idiots!! Sometimes people have financial problems that cause them to fall behind on payments. Payday loans are supose to help in a time of need, but unfortunately they are not helpful at all. Most people take them out because they are desperate at the time, without considering payback is a [***]!! I owe for a payday loan and Nelson Hirsch has called me at work but I just don't answer. If you have caller ID you should just ignore it. I got that from a lawyer. They can't take you to jail, there is no debtors prision. Don't listen to their threats, that's how they force some poor people who are scared to death of going to jail, to pay. Of course these poor people go out and borrow again to pay the debt or they don't pay their rent or utilities and end up in a worse situation. Some states may have different laws regarding payday loans but here in the state of Texas, we consider them bottom feeders!! Good luck everyone in dealing with these scum bags. Please don't let them scare you. That is the tactics they use. Don't talk to them at all. Send them a "cease and desist" letter and hopefully that will stop them, if not, just ignore.

got a call from this number stating that I received a quick payday loan in 2003.  the job that they said i worked at was in new york never worked or lived in new york.  went to the bank that they said it was deposited in but they had no info on any deposit.  then she called me back and wanted to make hardship arrangement payments wanted my credit card number and i told her seen me so documentation of who i am taking to in the mail not just a email because you are telling me that u okayed a  payday through email and u  only needed my ss# and email address and you sent out money with any id.  I am stilln  waiting for documentation.

I got a call from them, and put it on my 'block' list for my android phone.  I *KNOW* they are calling the person who had this phone # before I did (and I got this # back in 11/07!!!)  coz I've NEVER ever even stepped into a payday loan store!!!

I received a call from Rosenthal, Stein & Assoc. a few days ago. They also called my father. Funny thing is that the number is not published and he has only had it a few months.  I called the number back a was connected to an "Agent Yolanda" She claimed to be a criminal investigator on behalf of some processing company that apparently believes I took out two payday loans in 2007. They provided me with little information of the claim they were making but get ramping up threats of having me prosecuted and sued civilly.  I asked them directly if they were a police agency or some type of law enforcement and she just began to talk over me. I asked for a supervisor and she put on an "Agent Baxter" who was a bigger [***] than she was because I had the audacity to ask for them.  Long story short is that they do not know who they were messing with. I work in the criminal justice field. I told them over the phone while I knew they were recording me of the numerous felony violations that they were committing and the violations of the FDCPA of 1997. I explained to them that repeated violations would result in an $11000 fine for each time they attempted to contact me by phone.  The main issue here is that this so called company's bully and scare tactics are well documented on the internet, attorney's general offices,and with local police depts.  To even insinuate that you are a police investigator is a felony in my state. I am preparing a formal criminal complaint with my local D.A.  I also know most of the prosecutors and they will pursue this for me. I ultimately told them to mail the information that they claimed to have a warned them again to not pretend to be police officers. This company is in a lot of trouble. I just found that in my state there are already 34 complaints with the attorney general and a formal criminal inquiry is under way.

At best, it would be small claims. They tried the fraud crap with me and I was dumb enough to start paying. This was in my ex husband's name but they were hounding me. They even called my grandmother and we don't have the same last name. I was paying through a credit card, and all of a sudden, they stopped collecting. Then 8 months later, they started calling again giving me grief because I was no longer paying. I told them to shove it. They have started calling again from an in state number, actually a few different ones, even though they are in Georgia. They also claim to be an other company called Eastern Legal or something similar.
