Brilliant thanks for the info! Caught this after only £7.50 costs on my 11 year old daughters PAYG.  Rang Jamster and they are sending a cheque, plus they blocked the phone number.

If you're on T-Mobile simply phone up or log on to MyT-Mobile and set up a reverse charge bar.

i have had £18 the last 2 months on my daughters phone which is in my name.she is 11,is it legal for someone under 18 to sign up like this.i text stop and got a text back asking to rejoin and gave a no 08701213186 premium rate no doubt.i told virgin to block this text service which they cant do and cant even tell me where its coming from,they say they dont receive the money,i bet they get a [***] big chunk.im sure i pay my bill to them so i told them to cut the phone off,but i bet all the phone companies are at it.

just called them and was offered a £13.50 refund but when pushed they refunded 2 months with cheque for £27,the call was hard work but at least this covers most of the £36 charged,if the cheque arrives.i will push virgin for the rest but dont hold out much hope.i hope the £9 was a good lesson for an 11 year old

virgin are a waist of space,they could not care less and i told them to resolve it or i will cancel my tv phone broadband and mobile,still think i am waisting my time.

I had the same thing, found £9.90 on my son's mobile phone bill which I pay.  Searched google for these numbers and found it was from Jamster.  Rang this company and told them my son was a minor and I did not give permission for this service.  They cancelled the service straight away and promised to send me a cheque for the full amount.  Foreign sounding voice, very pleasant, so we shall wait and see!!!

Have just phoned to stop this charging my 12 year old. Apparently her number was entered on a website. Contact numbers given by mobile company (and found on internet) have been changed - need to ring 08082343605. They have promised refund. We will see.

Just noticed £9 on phone bill. Called JAMSTER help line on 0870 1213186 and they are sending a refund.

here's their freephone number for their so called 'customer care' department.  when I contacted them they at first tried to mislead me into thinking I was contacted an official consumer protection body.  they then became very rude and abusive.  Don't take any crap from these [***].

I would push for a full refund as the contract is void from the start, ie she wasnt of legal age to enter into it, plus the contract is not between your daughter and the company anyway it illegal for fraud if she was over 16
tell them you want a full refund or you will report them to the relevant authorities, they have an advisory regulatory body that overseas them report them to them or the FSA even that should get you a full refund, dont back down these people need to be stopped.. How many people dont even really check their kids bills and dont notice these charges!

I phoned 789 and took advice from Virgin Customer service. The company in question is Net Size. Call 207 543 6984 and you'll be prompted to enter your mobile number to cancel all text messages. These b**tards cost me 4.50 this month and last.

I just called them. They offfered £13.50 at first but i said I wasnt going to leave it until I got all the money they had taken. My Daughter is 12 years old.Ended up with £31.50. Lets see if the cheque arrives !!!

This number took £1.50 from my daughter's phone three times consecutively within the same minute.

I have had a same problem as your my daughter did same thing and I got charged £26 for the services but I managed to get refund £22 from them with the tel no you provided. Also managed to block the mobile no: as well.

I requested a ringtone download and sudenly got 3 texts xharging me £1.50 each, for what. the number the text was charged to was 700034153. There was no indication of cost to the download
