These people have made an angry mexican out of me...I curse them out, but they just curse me right back and hang up on me. They call me and hang up most of the time, but every now and again they'll try to give me a morgage loan.(I guess these S.O.B's do not keep good records of the people they have cursed at because they'll call and try to pose as a real business) I don't know how they got my info, I have never even requested a home loan, nor do I own a house or property for that matter.

Here's what I have been doing, when they first call answer with hello, most of the time it is a computer calling you, as soon as it picks up hello, it will put you in touch with someone. Once you get someone on the other line, act like the biggest jerk. I like to make moaning noises until they hang up on me or curse me out.

This won't stop the calls, but at least you'll get some type of satisfaction knowing that you got on their nerves too. Good Luck, BTW I registered my phone on the Do Not Call list, and this service is usless against these guys because they are not a real business and they are just trying to phish out your personal info. (oh, and if you know spanish start talking to them is spanish, they hate that, I sometimes talk to them in a made up language that resambles chinese and odd noises)

I did a reverse lookup on the number.  They have been calling me for the last few days.  What I get says the number is registered to Quest Communications.  Maybe someone could call that phone company and get an answer as to whose name is behind it.

these people keep calling me, each time they pose as a different business, I was rude to one of the guys that called, he called me a F***** S.O.B. and hung up on me. Lately, they call about 5-6 times everyday, but nobody ever seems to be on the other end. When I catch these people, I will make them eat S***!

Called and claimed to be a prelegal agency planning to sue me for a debt I don't owe unless I make a payment schedule with them.  When I started rattling off FTC laws they disconnected the call.

That should say Grand Forks, not Rapids.

I've gotten numerous calls from this number and never answered it, but today I finally decided to see who this [***] was. When I answered my cell, this man with, what sounded like, a Hispanic accent started harassing me! At first i thought it was all fun and games until I asked for a name, place of business, where he was calling from and why he was calling me and he would not answer any of the questions. He would actually answer a question with a question. When he started sounding like a pervert just breathing into the phone is when I hung up.  Immediately after i disconnected the call, they started calling back leaving me voice mail one after another. The last one I received finally said something about an "Arnold with E & E financial". I haven't received another one in about an hour, but i'm sure they will call back. I hope this helps.

Same thing - a couple calls in a row so far today with no answer or pickup.

This number kept calling, but I didn't answer it because I didn't know who it was and they never left a msg. I answer it this morning and this lady named diane said she was calling from southern promotions inc., and that I had won a cruise to the bahamas. Her sales tactics sounded like a scam, but I went along with it, she tried to get my full name and address for confirmation purposes.(gave her a made up name and address) then also asked for my social security number so I could claim my prize. I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving that info over the phone, and asked her to direct me to their website, she said they didn't have one. I asked her for their address and name of supervisor and I guess she figured I was not that stupid so she hung up. I called back their number and it said it was disconnected, then I googled the number and came across this blog. BEWARE of these people.

This time, the call was from a group called Island Resorts of Florida offering to sell timeshares.  I told them (rather forcefully) I'm not interested, never call me again!  If this were a regular land line, I would be able to sue should they not comply as my telephone is on the National Do Not Call List.  Unfortunately, cell phones are not included in this list and their calls are very difficult to stop.

Repeated calls from this scamming number have prompted me to report it as a fraudulent business to the FBI field office covering the North Dakota (701 area code) area. The FBI contact info is as follows:

I keep getting calls from this tel #. Call back and it is a staticky message that says this tel # is disc. I am not far from ND. Makes me want to go find this jerk!

How can we stop this!?

I dont know who this is , but I want them to stop calling my cell phone --My cell phone number is on the do not call list

This has been happening to me for about a year now, same number, same routine: That number calls, I say hello, computer (I guess) hangs up. It has happened maybe 30-40 times in a year. The only reason I keep answering is in hopes that someone will eventually speak to me, and then I can annoy the s*** out of them "Angry Mexican" style. Just have fun with it until we find out who these [***] are. Once that happens, hopefully we can exact revenge.

I have received exactly 16 calls from these fools in a pan of 72 hours. I am becoming pissed with these guys. Each time I say I am not interested except they keep on calling me back. They tell me each time I won $500 as a travel credit and I can use it on a combined vacation to Orlando and Cancun. They said their name is Island One Resorts and when I googled that it came up as a real company but I have never used it before. It is funny because when they are talking it seems like there are many other reps who are speaking to other customers like another poster said but I think that is fake too. Next time, I am going to do what Seinfeld did to the telemarketer when he asks for his home number. Hilarious!!!!!

this people suck! who the hell they think they are? they call my cell at least 10 times a day it's really making me think about taking a road trip and kicking some ass!

Just got a call from them, asked for me by name (first name) then got disconnected.  I tried calling back and the recording said the number was disconnected.  I sure hope this doesn't turn into a nightmare like others have mentioned on this web site.

I have received 5 calls from this phone number today and it is very irritating that you can receive a phone call from a number that does not work!

I just got a call from the same number.  Same result-hang up.  But!, I think it could be one of two ways they are getting our information. 1)Craiglist.  I just listed an item today and within 4 hours I got a phone call.  2)Career Builder or Monster.  I submitted my resume with my phone number about a week and a half ago.  I'm pretty sure it is craigslist.  Not that they did anything wrong.  I love craigslist.  I put my phone number in my listing for buyers to call me. If you submitted anything on craislist, that could be the avenue they are getting your number... just a thought!
