This number called me and said they were from a company called Wireless World in Florida. They said they had a plan from T-mobile for $40 a month for unlimited minutes and text with no contract. They said they were sending the money to T-mobile. The man had a strong Indian accent. I tried calling them back and it said the number was disconnected and there was noises in the background. Caller ID said unknown name. This is such a scam!

Telemarketers.  If you are receiving these calls you have two recourses, the first is to get them ont he phone and request that you're number be removed from their list, and that you be added to their internal DNC list, and that any future lists they get that you're name and number be removed.  You should follow this up with registration the federal DNC list and on your local state DNC list (most states have their own or merge with the federal.)  Warn them that if they fail to remove you from this and all future calling lists that you will report them to the state Attorney General, this will get their attention.  Keep in mind that most calling lists are either immediately adjustable but that most companies will tell you it takes 24 hours, which is industry standard.  A few will claim 72 hours but their full of it.

You're second recourse is best used if they do not cease calling you.  Find the Attourney General contact information for your state and the state they are calling from, copy both in a letter of complaint stating the dates and times they have attempted contact, and then the information and instructions you have provided with the date you requested to be taken off the list. Make sure you include the names of anyone you spoke with, and their managers.  

Do this repeatedly if nessecary.

You, as a citizen, cannot sue a telemarketer for anything other than harrasement which is a costly and time consuming endeavor.  However, AG's of the state like to go after Telemarkets for publicity and because no-one will complain except the TM's, which is good for the public image.  IF enough complaints, and repeated complaints come in they will open a case and investigate the company.  For every failure to abide the federal DNC after you've made the request the fines can be up to $11,000 PER FAILURE, that is PER CALL.  You don't get this money, the Fed does, but even ONE of these failures is a huge impact on the bottom line of a call center and they will bend over backwards to avoid you and anything to do with you for the rest of eternity.

The system has rules in place to punish this kind of behavior, use them.

They have called twice this morning and hung up.

We recieve a call from this number 2 - 3 times a day and no one is ever on the other end.  When calling the number, it is disconnected or not in services.  This really needs to be stopped.

Received several calls today--nobody there. I, too, am getting annoyed.

This guy called and said they were doing an investigation for a debt I didn't owe, so I cussed the guy and hung up. He immediately called back, and I cussed him again. There was noise in the background like other posters described. He gave me a callback number (before I cussed him) of 954-793-4509
And the caller ID on the call showed up as Vocalocity, Inc. If anyone can find info about the number or this shday good for nothing company...
I filed complaint with FTC and DNC registry, hopefully something can be done to stop these bastids.

keeps calling over and over and hanging up!

i just recieved a call from this number and as always they hang up once you answer. i called the number back. it seems that even though the area code phone number are North Dakota the call back actually goes to a residential phone in Camden New Jersey. The man who answered stated that he has been getting calls for a few weeks now regarding this issue and hasn't had any help from Verizon in finding out how this is happening. He apologized and stated that it is not him or his wife making these calls and now he is worried about his telephone account being compromised by whomever. when you do a reverse seacrh it shows that the 701 # is a land line and the provider is Qwest I am trying to get in touch with them to see if they can find out who this really is calling 6 times a day and hanging up.

You can't report this to the Do Not Call List because this number is not an actual business, but is a scamming operation. I googled the number and it's in North Dakota.

I get calls from 701 772 6411. I pick up the phone, and the person, or company hangs up. I suggest everyone to call your telephone provider and get that blocking service.

I get a call from them everyday and they don't even let the phone ring long enough for me to answer TO YELL AT THEM. ugh.  hopefully someone finds these creeps.

My call from 701-772-6411 was a hangup.  Rude.

If you are registered file a complaint with:https://www.donotcall.gov.  It is the only way to stop these clowns, make them pay the fine.

Just got the call on my cell phone. No one speaks. Disconnect at 2 mins. I call back and it's disconnected.

Whether I answer the call or send it

The call is not coming from that phone number, its someone calling from another number that has access to a centrex system so they can make it look like a different number is calling on caller id.  The only thing you can do is contact the PUC.

This is SO annoying! They have been calling me 3 or 4 times a DAY! This has been going on for a WEEK or so! ARRRGGGHHHH!!!

Calls 10 times a day then hangs up. When call is returned it is disconnected.
