I set the appointment and found that I won the Cruise.  We were on our way to Florida- set it up before I left, we had a blast.  
The rep that come out was selling life insurance with a new twist.  We did invest cause the programs they have are making money- called a few references of people who have also invested, and they were very happy with there investment.  spoke with one couple that the wife was able to retire sooner than thought.

this number continuously registers on my cell phone and hangs up when answered

They call this number asking for my mom... And its always a lady named Miss Miller. But when We called the number back it went to someones voice mail with an 805 area code. so we dialed it again and it said the number was out of service. And yes it is very annoying. My mom had gone on vacation when the calls started so i told her that, and when she called today(10/7/08) The first thing out of her mouth was oh so your finally home from your so called vacation. My mom nicely stated that she was being rude and the lady told her she wasn't going to play her games(my mom's) and hung up on her... this is ridiculous and very annoying... I AM NOW ENTERING OUR NUMBER IN THE DNC LIST!

They are calling our business about 5 times a day and it is really annoying.

I am a Manager at Midcontinent Communications in Sioux Falls, SD.  I and wanted to let everyone that has posted here know that this is not my company that is making these calls.  We are a Cable/Data/Phone company, primarily in North and South Dakota that has been in business for over 50 years.  This is a number that did belong to us through a different provider years ago, which is how this got linked to us, but gave it up quite a while ago.  I would urge anyone getting calls from this number to contact your local PUC and/or your state Attorney General.  For Nick in Toronto, I did personally receive the emails you sent to our company and would be more than willing to give you a call or correspond via email if you send one in with valid information.

someone from this number called and identified themselves as someone from the federal housing bureau. asked if mt home was in foreclosure and offered a plan to help save my home...unfortunately mt house is in foreclosure but i decided to check them out...THEY ARE A SCAM! STAY AWAY!
