I get this call all the time, they are telemarketers...trying to sell time share. I already blocked their number and they are still calling. buy a air horn and it works...use it to answer your phone

I got a message on my cell phone that I won a cruise for 2.  They didn't mention my name.  I'm sure they wanted to sell me something.

Well i just got a call 20min ago while reading this thread i noticed they left a voicemail and it was a recorded message telling me i had won a cruise ship trip to mexico.... So i dont know what to believe now. Is it just a payphone like everyone says or really a scam? :/

Got a call from this number stating I had won two tickets to Nassau Bahamas if I completed a survey. Annoying loud foghorn sound effects in background. "Don't miss the boat!" Just another bogus call.

I just received a message too.......................and he has been called already thrice which anoys me and interrupts my work

Received call (on cell phone), answered in error and hung up as soon as I as a 'sales pitch' was started.

number was persistent, when I didn't pick up, it kept calling over and over again.

Caller ID showed 702-444-4939.  Message left was a robo call recording with basically the following.

"Hi this is Lauren calling regarding your home modification loan.  You asked us to call with updated information.  Even if you have been turned down or didn't qualify for such and such we can help. Please call me back at 888-919-2196."

Notice the different numbers.  I do not have a mortgage .

This is a SCAM and this number 702-444-4939 is also a SCAM.
I do not ever answer any number I do not recognize and I recommend that you don't either.
Forget about the so called do not call list. That is also  a bunch of BS.

Bright smile company or some such. Total sales call on our recorder pretending to leave a message for "Lisa" about a great opportunity for her to get a bright smile just like the caller's. In fact anyone can take advantage of this offer. So much for calling for "Lisa".

Got a call around noon today and they left message for "home owners who have been taken advantage of" about a government program to refinance their homes.

Called at 9am on a Thursday.  Recorded message that I could lower my mortgage interest rate, no credit check needed as they had researched my documents already.  I pressed 1 to speak with an operator who answered "Hardship Services."  I asked her name, and she said "Lisa."  Then I asked to be placed on their do not call list at which time (before I had finished the sentence) she hung up.

They phoned me from a disconnected phone.

SpamScam claiming to be returning my call about a mortgage modification. Phishing, I think.  Just block the number.

I have received a number of calls from this number each time with a different "scam".  Last call today was a pre-recorded message saying "This is Amy I was just calling you back in reference to your loan modification...".  Needless to say I haven't applied for a loan modification.  Filing a complaint online with the FCC is easy.  You can review the questions/information requested and be prepared to gather as much information as possible to file the complaint.

I live in Pasadena CA and just got a robo cal for a local judge election from this number on my call phone.  WTF??????
