Never bothered to wait for someone to come on the line.  I don't owe anyone money, least of all Verizon.  I am a satisfied Sprint customer.

I am getting several calls a day (sometimes 5 or more) from this number.  It started immediately (the same day) after my new cell phone was connected.  Very annoying, since I never answer and have no reason for them to be calling.  I registered my cell with the National Do Not Call Registry, but it didn't make a difference.  I don't want to waste cell phone minutes talking to people who are not calling for me.  Very annoying!

I am so tired of receiving calls night and Day from those People. Dont know who they are or what they want. When i answer nobody is there. I called the # started to ask who it is and they hung up.What to do?

Verizon isn't the only company these people collect for.  Obviously, people owe money.

Called 703-291-9032 after annoying hangups.  Voice message said American Diabetes Association.

Just got the call from 703*291*9039 My caller ID said it was from Recievables Pref. who ever they are. I didn't answer the phone. it went to my answer machine noboby left and message. I just wish these people would stop calling.

I received a call on my cell-phone from 703-291-9039 at about 8:00 AM on this Sunday morning. I answered: "Hello?"  The caller said back very casually: "Maria? Maria? Is that you?" I said "Yes Yes Who's this?" and thats when it all began. His tone changed to very aggressive and he told me his name was Brandon and that he was calling on a VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS MATTER AND I BETTER LISTEN UP OR ELSE I COULD WIND UP IN SOME VERY SERIOUS TROUBLE. He said that I owed Verizon $941.00 for a LAN-Line phone I had back in 2005. I said that there must be some mistake as I am still and always have been Verizon's customer and If I owed an outstanding balance that surely they would've notified me first or interrupted my service. He then became irate and quoted my social security number back to me in a VERY threatening manner. He went on to say that things could only get worse if I did not co-operate and pay the debt in full. He threatenred to attack my credit score too. When I requested information abut the debt be sent to me he overtalked me and cut me off in mid sentence. He said his company already mailed that data to me once and were NOT obligated to mail it again. I told him i wanted to see validity of the debt and he started raising his voice again demanding my credit card number for payment. At my husband's bequest I hung-up. We just checked our credit reports online and on mine is R P M $941.00 PAST DUE LATE NEGATIVE RESPONSE POSTED TODAY THIS S-- O- A B---- REALLY WENT AFTER MY CREDIT REPORT LIKE HE THREATENED HE WOULD FOR A DEBT HE NEVER VALIDATED WITH ME THAT I ABSOLUTELY KNOW I DO NOT OWE. I'M CONTACTING THE FEDS AND I WISH I NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE THIS MORNING. FROM NOW ON I'M CHECKING CALLER ID.

So, tell me Lori, how is it woorking for Receivables Performance Management LLC??? Do they pay you well?  Are the benefits good? Do they treat their employees well? Please tell me. I'm dying to know. Judging from your last blog on August 25, 2009, you MUST work for them. Quote: "People obviously owe them money."  REALLY??? REALLY??? REALLY????  My wife doesn't owe them or Verizon a ---damn thing. These people are SCAM-artists. They create debts by fishing through various peoples credit reports {mainly the ones with bad or low scores} and get all their personal information. Then, they contact that person with someone elses bad debt thinking that this scared person will just pay to avoid future trouble. They're charging people for other people's old debts, most of which are already forgiven and these a-- h---s are resurrecting them. They're breaking the law and they will eventually be on the news. I have obtained a lawyer who says we ARE 100% RIGHT and my wife owes NOTHING and NEVER HAS. So Lori, don't be so fast to judge that all these people OBVIOUSLY OWE THE MONEY OKAY?? With this shady company, they don't. And if you DO work for them Lori, Then my advice to you is to start applying to a different company because your boss IS going to jail sooner or later.

This number called 5 times the day

Someone calls my cell from a private number and then I get a call from 703-291-9039 on my work phone. We have caller id at work so I pick up the phone and hang it up. I was hoping they would get the point, but obviously not b/c they have called me for over a week.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I never answer them and they never leave a message.  They've called me on 11-18, 11-25, 12-1, 12-5 and today.

Caller left automated message to call back Rhonda.  Of course I didn't call back.   I do have an old uncollected Verizon wireless bill from 7 years ago.  That is probably it.

this is for imagine mastercard as well. i offered to pay them something, though not much at all, and it was not in their parameters for payment. i told them that i will testify in court that due to my high medical bills, i cant pay them. they report it, and then hang up. oh well.

Calling me all the time and asking for Robin, No such person at this number I have related this to the caller several times and ask that they quite calling- they are rude and hang up.  (I want this to stop now)  thank you

Random calls from this number...and hangups

Calls everyday and on weekends- sometimes before 9am and after 9pm, Hi my name is Wanda, I have some important information for you-please call 866-212-7408.Never get anyone to answer, not even so Call Wanda.

They call from a variety of numbers.  It is all a scam.  I have a woman calling me from another number that is threatening to fax something to my employer regarding some papers that came across her desk.  I can't even answer the phone at work if I don't recognize the number because of these people.  Is there a federal agency that we can write to?

I continually get calls from this number.  It is a recorded message from someone named Rhonda asking me to return her call @ 866-212-7408.  When I finally succumbed and did this, Rhonda was not there and the young man ( I assume he was young) started asking if the numbers he recited were the las 4 digits of my ssn and if I had ever lived in some place, taking "NO" as a meaningless answer or not knowing the meaning himself.  I had asked that the call be recorded prior to engaging in conversation.  I told this person, Lulke or Lucas or something like< that I DID NOT wish to receive any more calls from this number.  Little did that seem to work as I have just tonight, a week later, received the same call and message.  I call the 866 number and spoke, actually raised my voice and used language I probably should not use in a recorded conversation, to a person name of Daniel.  I once again requested the recording of our conversation and told Daniel that I had already requested this calling to be terminated, that I did not appreciate these people not respecting my request and told Daniel to forward to his boss that I will be contacting ohone company official, the FTC, FCC, and possibly an attorney should I receive another call such as I have been getting.  These people are collection agents with a list of names and a ssn and go down the list trying to get someone confused enough to either dole out enough information for fraudulent use or to pay for someone else's fraud behavior.  Please,  if you have received one of these calls, we need to band together to put together a means of stopping these harassing calls.
