I started receiving these calls about a week ago, they have called at least once a day everyday including weekends! They are claiming I owe more than I do to a phone company that I used for only a month. I told them that I am unemployed at the moment and cannot pay anything, the lady ( who refused to give her name) stated that it wasn't her problem that I cannot hold a job! Every night before bed I have to use the "Do Not Disturb" ( on VOIP) feature on my phone to not be awakened by her calling before the sun comes up.  I am at the point of thinking to change my number......the nerve of these people!

Caller ID says "RECEIVABLESPERF" from this number.  I answered and it gave me an automated "please hold while I route you to an attendant message".  They asked for someone I've never heard of. Seems like a collection company to me.

I recently got a new cell phone number, and have no debt. They've been calling everyother day for weeks.  I answered the last two calls (in a language other that English), and they did not reply.   Also, a got a call at 1:30 am caller ID--Private, and I suspect it was them.  I plan to get an account with GoogleVoice so that I can block their calls; or maybe I'll just ge a new number.

I don't know who they are but they call me for a few days straight then stop for awhile then start up again.

Come on people.  You don't have to put up with this.  File a complaint with the FCC, Contact your State's Attorney General and file a complaint with them.  File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for the Lynnwood, WA area and another one with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General.  Washington State is where this company operates its head office with another location in Milwaukee, OR.   They are a bottom feeding collection agency trying to collect on out-of-statute debts and collection items that have been written off by the original creditor long ago.  Therefore they cannot sue to collect and instead resort to intimidation, abusive and harassing tactics to try to bamboozle people into paying just to make them go away.  They have no power over you, even if you are the legitimate debtor.  Stick it to them.

If they continue to harass you, find an attorney with experience in FDCPA and FCRA litigation.  Both Acts allow courts to award both damages and attorney fees if you win, so you may be able to find an attorney to take such cases on contingency.  

To find a competent and experienced FDCPA/FCRA attorney, you might try www.naca.net to find those who are members in your area.  Carefully following the advice and directions of such attorneys could result in RPM paying you a sizable chunk of money as reparations for the unjustified grief they have caused you and the laws that they have broken doing it.

keep getting a call and they hang up

I began receiving calls from this number 2 to 3 weeks ago with a message, very important call and please hold until the next person is available.  I would hang up.  Finally today an actual person called me, attempting to get hold of my ex-husband of 3.5 years!  

I asked them to remove my number as a contact as I've had no contact with this person in 3.5 years and do not know how they can locate him!  We'll see if they continue to call! 05/23/11

They called my daughter's cell number and asked for me...going to block them from her phone!!

I called them back twice; first time no answer. Second time, I asked the women who they were wanting to speak to and she hung up on me. Third time I called back and the gentleman tells me that he'll remove my number from their list. Crazy. I never had an account with verizon and they are calling a t-mobile line concerning someone elses verizon bill. I wish people would pay their bills!!

they only started calling me when i got a verizon phone.  i don't owe them anything, just had their service for a week!

Keep calling non F-ing stop. Rediculus. I blocked them on my phone.

Getting calls since the end of October.  I refuse to answer because one will only get more grief.  If they had a legitimate claim, the one owing should be getting some sort of paper work to justify the calls.  I am ready to seek my lawyer and get him on board. I will give you a hint they don't respect lawyers either.   Always becomes a run around for them and us.

RECEIVABLESPERF has called me 50 times or more from a number that appears on my answering machine as 240-210-7111.  It is a robo-call.  When I answer, a recording asks, "Are you ____. Press '1' if yes and '2' if no."  No matter what I press, no real person appears on the line.  Whether I have some unknown debt I don't know. But the calls provide no information, just continuing irritation.

they have been calling for a bill finalized with documentation of payment through bank.  4 people later and several in escalations dept and no one can help.
