I logged into the FCC website & filed an online complaint against the company. They have no business calling me. All my bills are paid & this is a collection agency. I urge everyone to do the same.

If you get a call from that name, do not ever answer it. They have called me 1 to 2 times a day for the past month. They have left 2 recorded messages to call them back. I did not write down their phone number. I think it is a scam.

Have no idea what they want and refuse to pick up.

Got a threat call by this debt collector, RPM (703)291-9039 for the first time ever when they told me that I owe Verizon X amount of money 3 yrs ago. I told them I paid it off already, and they told me if I don't pay at that moment they will do something to ruin life in the future.  WTF..    I called Verizon and they cannot find me owing them anything, I even ask Verizon to send me a letter to proof that I don't owe them anything.  My uncle, who is a lawyer, told me that these debt collector who are hunting you down after so many years usually are scams and don't have your SS#.  If something does happen to my credit, Verizon can provide me a letter saying that I do not owe them anything since 3yrs ago, then I can always go to the credit bureau and ask them to throw that out. However, that is less likely to happen since the amount of money is not worth these debt collector to put me on the bad credit list.   Not only I am mad with RPM, but I think Verizon needs to start taking responsability to it as well.

I keep getting rude phone calls about owing $700.00 CitiCorp. I have never had a Citicorp account in my life. They told me the account is from 1992. Are they kidding me??? They also told me that this balance due is on my credit report which it is NOT. I don't owe these people anything but they don't seem to be smart enough to figure this out. Anthony Ramirez threatened me. Really?? What a scam! Don't people have anything better to do?

This call started with silence then click then a live person. He was looking for some one name Gutierrez. I told him, you got wrong number. Then, he asked "what number did I dialed?" Why do I have to tel you? you figure it out yourself. "if you don't tell me, we are going to call you tomorrow, next week, next month." I said whatever and he refused to hang up.

I don't know what these people are talking about. If they called again, I'll report them to police for harassment.

I tend to have a bit of fun...I pick it up and cuss them up one side and down the other...my calls from them have decreased since I started this.

We get calls from these people as well.  They will call for a couple of days, never let the phone ring more than two or three times; it's gone to voicemail once but no message was left.  Then we will hear nothing from them for several days and then the cycle starts all over again.  I see someone says they are a collections company for verizon.  Yes, I have verizon however my bill is paid up each month, and is paid automatically through verizons system so I KNOW it gets paid!  Besides, in the past, when I was overdue with verizon they would call me directly, or send me a text on my cell phone, not through some debt collection service.  I don't owe anyone else any money either.  I will not answer the phone so they can call till dooms day if they like but it won't get them anywhere.

I have a prepaid accout with at&t, this number calls me up to 3 times a day. Sometimes when im sleeping, sometimes while im at school, mainly just random times every single day. I've called the number back on my home phone and said "would you guys please quit calling my damn cell phone" some guy asked me my number and i told him. He transferred me to a different number and i sat there for 10 minutes no one ever answered me and they still call to this day.   SUSPICIOUS

I put a stop to the harassing phone calls from this number by using the VERIZON call blocking service for my cell phone.  I got online at VERIZON, put this number in to be blocked and that was the end of it.  No more cell phone calls - just peace.  I can block up to 20 telephone numbers with this service and I highly recommend it.  The monthly cost for the blocking service is around $5 or so - well worth it to stop these aggravating calls.  BTW, I understand that these collection agencies call without leaving a message because they are being paid by whoever they working for to make each call - if they speak with us or not is not a problem for them - they still get paid for making the calls.  The more they call, the more they get paid.  Is it starting to make sense now why they call us so many times without leaving a message.... :-)

For God's sake people, don't answer the damn phone when they call.
Every time you answer, the seven year limitation law updates.....so do not answer the phone.

they called and the caller id said RECEIVABLESPERF 703-291-9039. I didn't get to the phone on time and called them back. They had the number I was calling from and repeated it back to me, typed a lot of stuff into a computer while i talked, and asked for a person whose name I never heard of. I said noone here by that name, and they said, "sorry to have bothered you." We'll see if they call back.

calls all the time

someone is calling my cell phone # every single day & evening / last call was this Sunday (06-06-10) @ 1:59pm.  No message left to return call or what it was about etc.  I had a friend call this ph # 703-291-9039 - caller answered as "RMP"???? - would not give any details or name????.  From what I have research the number is from Virginia.  Do not know anyone in Virginia.

They call the law offices where I work and when I answer no one says anything not even a recording. I sat on the phone one time for 5 min and nothing not a word or a click... I don't know what to do but they call everyday twice a day.

Hey!  I'll do that too! This is one way to spread the Word of God.

They call me every day use up air time on my cell phone.  I called them back and asked them to remove my number from their call list.  They said they wanted to talk to accounts receiveable, which this is a small company and I don't have one.  Said the call is a personal business matter but wouldn't tell me what it is about.  This company has no debt and owes nothing to anyone.  I find this harassing and needs to stop.

Thank you google for taking me to this site. I've been getting calls from this number everyday since 6/28/10 from around 12:00-1:00pm. Never made a voicemail after all of them(since I never answer unknown calls). Don't know anyone from Virginia nor have I owned a single Verizon phone. I'm just gonna add em in a block contact and ignore them. theyre wasting their time

Caller says all opreators busy please hold then hangs up  , calls several times a week..........

RPM has called me every 30 days for the past five years and asks for a company that apparently used to have my number.  I tell them that the company no longer has the number but it never gets taken out of their system.  So, I have listed all of their infomation below that use toll free numbers and invite everyone to call them at least 10 times a day on their toll free lines to tell them how much you like their inconsiderate approach to life.

For anyone who has an unlimited call out plan and a fax machine you might want to send them a 1,000 page fax every so often with a nice message to clear out their fax machine.  That is always a fun payback for inconsiderate people.
