I get this text from someone I really dislike telling me my name was seen for our county for not appearing. Now idiot forgets who I work for... so playing a joke like this was not lets say a good one on his part. He got an ear full then I told him "Joke on you mtf" :)

Received a text with this number saying my name was on a did not appear list. Did not call googled it and found out it was a joke. The area code did not match where I live so I did not worry about it nor did I call it.

This is a pretty sick joke to play on someone. Evidently people have to much time on their hands. Get a job or something. STOP SENDING ME YOUR JOKES. DON'T HAVE THE TIME.

I got a call from 704-319-7254 saying that I had failed to appear in court. We called the number back anonymously and the man answered Family Dollar. I have never been summoned or received anything giving me a court date in the first place. I have never been in trouble in my life, and I had never been to North Carolina in my life. This is a scam and it is B**S***.  They need to be stopped because they will get to a venerable person/s.

this just happened to me and i googled it too. no need to get freaked out about it. my friend said i was no fun cause i looked it up instead of freaked out.

Someone told my boyfriend that his name had been seen on a failure to appear list, and to call this number!!!

He had recently gotten a traffic ticket, and paid it off... so I called the courthouse he went to and had to leave a message, because nobody answered. (We assumed they just misplaced his information, or hadn't recorded it.)

He then sent me the number, assuming that someone would answer, since it was a different number... so here I am wasting the courts time over some stupid joke?

It's not freaking funny! Had me thinking the father of my seven month old child would go to jail!!!

i didnt get a call but a friend of mine saw my name on a failure to appear list at the courthouse with this # to call, 24 hr day.  704-319-7254.  im in area code 502 so that told me it was a joke.  i googled and everyone was saying the same thing about this number.  its a hoax failure for jury duty.  but imma see what i need to do to take my name of the list

I dont know if my workplace is playing this prank on me but they just said the same thing as above, failure to appear, warrant, with the number 704-319-7254 from NC. I read this thread and didnt feel like getting pranked, thank you.

My son tol d me to call this number, I realized it was a crank call, but I am concerend that I will get some sort of phone charge for calling it.

They called to speak to my sister saying that they were from the Duval County Courthouse.

This was a non funny prank call in which causes people to run up their minutes and to have other calls.
