why is this company calling me dont have any idea who and what this message pertaining i like it to stop wrong person

What a stupid waste of time. [***] like this isn't funny. I'd like to punch these people in the face and then laugh and go "it's ok, it's a joke, funny, ha ha" while blood pours down their face.

Like others, I got a text from some random local number that I don't know about a failure to appear in court. Considering that I knew I didn't need to be in court, I know that there's thousands of scams out there and to never trust anything at face value, and that the message said there was a number "for u to call to tell u why" (is it really that hard to hit the y and o buttons?).. I knew it wasn't real. So I looked it up here, and saw it was a joke. As I'm on a pre-paid plan with unlimited minutes, I wasn't concerned about extra charges, so I called the number out of curiosity. It's not that great of a joke... rather lame really. Teases you for being so gullible then suggests passing it on to 10 friends. So if you're worried about random charges, don't worry.. it's not humorous anyway.

I had a feeling it was a "joke" or something because I always check my mail and I knew I did not receive a jury duty notice.  There is a difference between a joke and a prank. Jokes make you laugh, while pranks can be serious. If this gets sent to someone who has anxiety, or elderly, or a young girl or boy, it is no longer funny anymore. Only a real a**hole would send this. Best advice I can think of is to spread the word about it on fb. I'm just glad one of my daughters didn't get this.

I agree Charlie Cat! Thank God for this sight. After I called the number and found out it was a prank I wanted to look it up to see if I could find information regarding who is sending this. Made me feel a little better.

I got this text msg tonight telling me just like many others that my name was on a failure to appear list that was in the newspaper.  It also said:  "There was a 24hr # to tell u why 704-319-7254". and the text was sent by a "local" unknown phone number.

My family and I do not have the time nor the desire to deal with stuff like this!  It's very frustrataing.  What may be all fun and games to one person is not to another!  This is one of those times for my famly!

These idiots called me too!! What a joke!!  Apparently it's someone who needs some phone education and has no clue what they can get outta freakin strangers out. My next vacation will include a trip to the ole carolinas and maybe we can find out why they are so bored!

I recieved a text from a friend that she saw my name and gave me the number. I have never recieved any mail with regards to any jury duty?

How stupid. Who ever came up with this GROW UP. My gf got this and before she reacted we checked the number on this website like we always do when we get an out of state phone number.

I got a text from a friend saying that my name appeared on a court list for failure to appear for court... Completely strange since it was my good friend's name... I didn't call, but feeling that it was a scam, I asked where we worked together... I received no reply.

WTF is wrong with you people!!!! I listened to most of the message and immediately called my attorney to investigate this! After several hours over a few days he found out it wasn't real. I just spent hundreds of dollars on attorney's fees for him to investigate this within several courthouses and districts!!

This is a stupid joke about being called for jury duty. Not funny at all. Do not call this number.

Gotta love google. Thats what  I did too. The person just stopped texting me.
