My mom just text me freaking out about this number. Of course to the internet I go too see what is up. I called the number... and HAHA.. I told her to call it and listen all the way through. :)

An employee of hers told her that her name was in the newspaper!

just got the message telling me to call this number. its from a friend that prank calls me all the time. first off i googled it and went straight to this site. good thing i did. the prank may be on him now. lol

I received a text message saying "there was a legal notice and someone must be looking for me".  It came from a local portland, oregon number with the 704-319-7254 number in the text.

This REALLY got me!! But it was a good prank. I was shocked cause my mom sent to me at like 1am....so I was concerned cause they keep up on all the news papers... good one!

I did not do that    but hope there is not any charges for calling it the first time

My friend jut got me with this...he sent me a message sayig he had went to court and someone told him to notify me about not appearing so I called the number and it told me I had failed to report to jury duty. I hung up before I heard the whole thing and called my friend. He said listen to the whole thig so I can know what to do so I did. And at the end I was like fuuuuuuukkkk he got me!!! Lmao

My friend received a phone call that it was for me, and texted me saying it was urgent. I did just search the number that came up with this thread, and yes its a joke but yes, it was funny after the fact.

I did not call the number back, because I googled it and came to this site to read all the other messges. NOt happy  that they called my prior job ( to contact my supervisor) to leave this message. THis would not be taken as a "Joke"  at this facility. Not funny and no need to do this to respectable people.  

Teh individual left a name of Kyle or Keith wiht my prior office.

This is a stupid joke designed to scare you..listen to the whole messeage and you will probably get very mad like i did..my boyfriend got this call and said that they were asking for me..IT IS NOTHING BUT A STUPID JOKE!!

they keep calling for some unknown person and won't understand no such person here.

Seriously though, you people actually freaked out because someone else said you failed to appear in court? That's law business, you're a fool to believe that someone else would know before you. Especially if its not even your own area code. Like, law enforcement calls your friend "yo we'd like YOU to inform 'name' that they're wanted on court lolkthxbye".

I just received a text msg from my husband saying my name was in a north Louisiana paper stating that I missed grand jury duty & I needed to call this number. I told him I wasn't callin no nbr b/c it's a NC area code & this was in a LA paper! Just sounded fishy to me! Whoever is playin this joke need to find something else to do &screw themselves!!
