My ex sent me a message saying call this number, you missed court. Well, I actually did have court like 2 weeks ago, but my case was dropped so I was freaking out. I googled it before I called and found out it's a dumb prank. I'm curious what the actual message is, but I don't want to risk any kind of charges!!

got a call at work with this number and I called it back, said something to do with jury duty which I have never even been summoned for.

Someone text me from a number telling me to call the number above.  The texter stated that she saw me on a did not appear list for court.  I have never been summons to court. What is going on?  I researched this and it appears to be a scam!

my best friend called me and said an officer myers is looking for and that need to calk him asap. first of all..how did he gwt her number and not mine. second if he has info on me why wouldnt he contact me directly? This differently a scam.....

I just received a txt msg stating tha tmy name was on a failure to appear list at the courthouse, and that i needed to call this number 704-319-7254....some random person just saw my name. Its in North Carolina, really? I dont even live close to that state, let alone ever been there.

my sister sent me this text, i was wondering why the hell am i being summons to nc?. first thing i did was pulled up google and searched for this number, haha. very funny. i sent this to my which is a 911 dispatcher and works with the police department, fire, ems, eoc etc. she would know right away it was a joke.. stupid me.

WOW, I work 3 freakin jobs to support my wife and 3 kids and do not have time for this prank crap, not funny, I am ready to persue an actual lawsuit for the inconveniance. freakin B.S. Thanks for the thread of comments here as I will not be calling in regards to this matter now in the morning after working 18 hours to deal with this nonsense

I got a text from my sister saying there was a warrant for my arrest, and to call this number. Luckily a few days before I read in the newspaper about 3 new scams going around, and that was one of them.

This is pure BS, Someone needs to stop these people from doing this.

My sister sent me a text message saying she had seen my name at the courthouse on the FTA (Failure to Appear) list. Made me a little nervous because we live in the 704 area code right ouside Charlotte, NC and I had a big court date coming up. I didn't call the number but did a reverse look-up first and found this and other pages saying that it's prank.

You sorry maggot.  I would love to have you come into my combat school and sign a waiver so I could show you how I really feel about this sleezbagidiot sort of crap.  This causes real health and stress issues.  Come on in for a visit dirt bag and I will be happy to prank you prank.

Seriously, where has your sense of humor gone?  Yes it was a prank, and you got burned.. get over it.  I just like you, was lead to the number however... the first thing I did was type the number into google and found out it was a hoax so I didn't waste hours and hours wondering what this number meant.  js.  common sense people.. common sense.

I just got this text in my phone and went and goggled the number.  Good to know it's a prank cause my anxiety levels just went off the hook.
