I just received a phone call from 704-815-0158. I didn't answer the first time since I did not know the number and if it was important they could leave a voicemail and I would call them back. I did however answer the 2nd time since I am at work and work in an office. First off I have NEVER had any AT&T service so I am not sure why they are calling my Verizon cell phone. This is becoming a little ridiculous. I have started using Google to search for any unknown numbers that call me since this is happening.

Called AT&T at the end of January to tell them that we would have to move services because DSL wasn't capable of handling our needs. Was told that our renewal date was August 1, when it was April 30. July 1 moved services because we moved to another location and got billed for all the chickens in the pot and all the eggs they would have laid because we terminated the contract too soon. Huh? Seems as though they NOW recognized April as the renewal date and we had an automatically renewed account. OK, SHOW ME A SIGNATURE. They were told at the end of January we were getting out, so that should have taken care of until the end of April. Get a call that they don't accept the dispute until I told them about being given the wrong renewal date. GASP, someone lied and it sure wasn't me. Enter Prince Parker to tell me that AT&T had sent the bill to collections. I told them the story and was asked, "How much do you think you owe them?
Sorry, I don't have the paperwork in front of me. "Well, why don't we say you will make a payment by September 26th?" Let's say no because I don't know what I consider fair because I don't have the paperwork in front of me. I still don't have a signature either. I also told the guy that I am a nasty little old lady and even though they might consider this a small sum, I'm the kind who loves to go to court. He laughed. Yeah, right.

Everyday I get call from this number, I don't respond because of unknown name. I found from Google they are collection agency from at&t. I don't have any service from at&t because they are fraud. These collection agency has no ethics or principle, it is based on complete greed. They try to take advantage of  women, minority and elderly. It must be stopped, because it is harassment and they are fraud.

This is a scam!!!  Some creepy guy called me on my Verizon cell phone and asked for my husband regarding my 6 year old daughter!  WHAT?!  They keep calling.  I called the 704-815-0158 number and it says it is no longer in service, however that is the number that shows up on my incoming calls!!!!  How can I get them to stop calling me!?!

Got a call from this chick as I was driving to work. She asked for my daughter, who is SN adult and has her own phone. When I asked her if it was a collection call she said she could not understand the question. I told her to Never call my number again and hung up on her. [***] called me right back. I am reporting them to the NC Atty General, OH Atty General and the FTC, who governs collection agencies. She was dumb enough to call twice from the same number AND left a voicemail message for my daughter leaving a file number....3rd party disclosure !!!!!!

Rcd a call  from 704-815-5115 Matthews, NC. Did not answer, did not leave a message. After reading the posts here, I'm afraid to pick up the line, as I have never had ATT service at my house or cell AT ALL and certainly no debt. SCAM-- is the word that comes to mind,, no, I'm not giving you a check, no, no credit ard numbers, nothing.. BUGGER OFF--
