Got a call twice in one day, someone left a message, didn't speak english.  I don't usually answer calls like that.

Got a few calls from these guys---with an accent.  Said they were conducting a survey on the state of veterans affairs in Canada. Then they asked what kind of credit card I had----they very quickly jumped to the next question.

what good is it to be on the NO-CALL LIST if we still get these annoying calls!  This is ridiculous!  How can this be stopped

I Pose the questions, how many of us on here has purchased any products online from a natural herb shop or health store online??????

Hmmm.....I wonder who is selling our phone numbers and emails and all our info we gave them to send us our products to our homes and trusted they would keep it private

Even when they say they don't sell your email or share with anyone or third parties, they don't just sell to anyone, they sell to their clients, and they sell to the secondary parties, so they can say this and get away with selling all your info to any old creepy guy with an online business

In future, send to your local post office, not your home address and rent a post office box for that shipment alone, some post office places do it free, also, your email they ask for, make it a brand new email you never use and will only check to see what this company has sent in your email here and there. So if its futureshop asking then make an email called bobfloridafutureshop@me.com, if you get any email from anyone else besides futureshop emails then you know they have sold your email to others.

P.S.S Don't think this is true, make a new email right now, call it nospam@ or wtf ever name you want to call it, just don't use this email to send one thing ever and don't give it out to anyone, and don't send any emails to it, just make it and check it weekly, monthly, yearly, you will have no emails from anyone ever, except the emails server if they have updates or errors and need to let people know.

You make spam by not using emails and BCC right

Got a call at 8:17 p, from Orange, CA. Same call at 8:35 pm.  No message, no nothing.  I keep saying this Do Not Call list is BOGUS and a waste of time.  I have registered every number in my household and they still call, at least have the balls to say something!

Strange company...they called yesterday, and I inadvertently answered.  Asked if I spoke Spanish [I said "no," although I do], then asked if anyone in the home spoke Spanish [again, I said 'no"].

Caller said "thank you" and hung up.  Caller never identified himself or his company.

But, they called again today?!  Why?!

Perhaps they were calling about a different survey (?) but they call too often [annoying!], and [my opinion] they are spoofing their Caller ID by only stating their location as "Orange CA"

So, went to the datascension.com website...navigate to "contact us" page, and at the bottom, there is a link to be placed on their company's "Do Not Call" list.  I typed in my phone number...we'll see if the calls continue.

Just got a call 714-551-5502 (ID - 7145515502AA).  Lady asked if I speak spanish.  I told her we speak english in my house.  She said sorry and hung up.  How weird is that??

just got a call from this number ...she told my 13 yr old dau she was calling all around the world looking for love affairs and was she over 18. My dau asked her why she was talking with such a funny accent and then hung up on her. hahahahaha

Get at least three or four calls a day. Tried calling back, so I can request to have them take my number off the list but in order to do that they want me to email them. Yeah, right, so they can have my email too! I can never a live person, just a machine.

Create a free Hotmail or Yahoo email address and use that strictly for the purpose of removing yourself from phone lists, etc.

I had my car serviced at my local ford garage here in England, I then got a call from these guys in the states for a customer service survey about ford. It was my local garage that gave them my number. I won't be going there again. Hope this helps.

Ok, i used to work with surveys, if you don't want them bothering you, just be polite and say "Not interested" And be sure to add "Please add me to your Do Not Call" list. Fpr those that are on the national do not call list.... Surveys are not affected by the national do not call list, as YOUR GOVERNMENT sees the need for product/service feedback. Your National Do Not Call list will however stop sales calls, or at least should. HOWEVER, surveys are still valid and you CAN be called by survey companies. Just follow my advice at the top of my post, and you should be fine. But don't be an Ignorant [***] and tell every surveyor that calls you that you're on the "National Dont Call" list, it doesnt mean [***]. If you could generate enough brain waves to light a lightbulb, you would have checked the DNC national list to see what they block and dont block. But, im sure you are American, so that guarantees that you maybe have a low iq, and for that, i cannot help you.. Some americans think us Canadians have an accent... ITS not an accent, we can just speak proper english. Hyuk, yer get that, y'all?

If they charged for stupidity, you would likely be broke...

If you are going to insult people, then you might as well not look like an idiot yourself. Learn proper (English) grammar first before running off about accents or intelligence. Yes, Canadian's do have accents, just like there are different accents between those in Boston and those in Texas. This forum is for the purpose of finding out who is calling people, so you are only wasting space with that long paragraph of ignorance. Take an actual English class and learn how to write/type it first, then come back.

Have been getting calls from these people for a week now but never answer. The number comes up on caller I.D. as this: 7145515502AA.

If you look back during 2009 and 2010, they keep changing their story about what 'survey' they are conducting. Just don't give them any information or answer at all. It's probably a scam of some sort.

Hung up when I answered.
