Me too.  They left 3 messages on my voice mail and each call had a different code.

This is a verification call.  Forgot a password recently and they asked to send a code? - this is the number that calls to give you the code....

likely microsoft.  hotmail, gmail, google, outlook..... etc

it's not a scam, it is a verification system to prevent scams.  Now if you have someone trying to access your account without your knowledge, they cannot access that account until they provide the code that is sent to the phone of YOUR choice, so if you are getting several of these calls - that is an indication that someone is trying to access your account.  Give them a call.

Recorded voice left a code on machine. Repeated code and said goodbye. Didn't say who it was or what the code was for.

Called me at 2:11 am 10-14-17.  Unless it's a family emergency no one should be calling at this time of morning. Some people are wide awake after being woke up. It is illegal to call at that time. I don't know what the code was for and really don't care. Call me at that time of morning and I'll report it everywhere I can.

Calling to give me the verification code I had just requested for Microsoft Excel App on my phone. Was linked to the phone number I had given them and called at my request.

Called at 12.45am - I've not requested any codes and they gave no indication of what it was for.

Same thing happened to me

The person at this number is a fraud. They pose as Microsoft and Google help and once they have your info, they will get into your accounts and any other info you have on your computer. Do NOT use the code sent by this number! I did and now I am a victim of identity fraud and cyberstalking.
