I received two text messages from 2 different California numbers, with a code and then immediately received a call from 714-707-3350. I did not reply to the texts or answer the phone. I have not asked to change a password or recently changed a password, so I don't know who this is. I blocked the numbers.

I have some calls and some verification codes for telegram but i have not install telegram in these days.

That happened to me too and I didn't know what it was… she sounded Russian and she said something about a Lauren. She said this is for Lauren. That's my sister

This might be a legitimate service used by many different companies but it's for sure used by scammers also. Why would they send you a code when I've not asked for one?
The voice was a robocall. Got the same message over telegram. But as said, didn't ask for any code.
Btw - I'm not in the US. This service seems to offer scammers international opportunities too.

Same happened to me.  Forgot a password and they call with a code to enter on your computer to verify it is you.  Not a scam.

Called twice, heard other voices in the background, and then silence and hang-up treatment.  Scaredy-cat scammers.  They want info...

They left a voicemail in some foreign language, it wasn't Spanish, French or German.

Every time we get a call from a number I don't recognize, I come here to the internet to check out who is calling. Last night we received a call on my cell phone from this number at 11:30 PM. I was pissed because we get a lot of unknown calls but it's usually during the day, not late at night. It was a call giving a 4-digit code.  About a half hour later my husband came upstairs and said if a call comes in with a code, he needs the code for a program he is trying to get into on his computer from MICROSOFT.  I told him these types of codes are usually only good for 15 minutes or so and then are invalid - he needs to request another call back with a new code as I erased the call because I thought it was a scam.

So, it WAS Microsoft calling as far as our call here.  The only thing I can think of if you didn't request the 4-digit pin is that someone used your phone number or a random phone number when setting up programs or whatever on their computer because they didn't want to use their real phone number. Or someone is trying to get into your account and requested a call back with a pin, not realizing the call goes to the ORIGINAL person who set it up. This recorded lady that calls with the pin numbers sounds the same for online banking verification, so maybe this is a central place that many companies use for call-back pins.

I have received numerous calls from this number. The voice on the recorder says to punch #3 if you do not want to be called. I have punched #3 many, many times, but the person keeps calling back.

Called at 4:40 Am. I did not answer. Just precious to this call at 4:30 AM I got a text with a code. Did not answer. Same number as listed above.

To Verify TELEGRAM app in order to log in--not a scam, a security call.  You need the code they give you on the call!
