got a text for a wal-mart gift card. i recently entered my cell number into a job-finder website jobcooler.com

This is a scam. arabic women answers as if shes been sleeping for a year all she says is hello. Then asks you to repeat slowly over and over your gift code. 877-306-9992.
Don't be victim of this scam.

I just called walmart customer service to check if they are giving gifts for free. they said this phone no.729329 is not from walmart & it is definetly a scam. 729329 txt me claiming I won a $200 gift & called 1877-306-9957 to claim but they need your credit card no. first. It's weird cos this people I spoke to have accents &  are very pushy asking my credit card. very suspicious. sounds like terrorist. WTF. what a scam!

got a text message  for a free $200 walmart gift voucher. not falling for it. did anyone unsubscribe? it says text stop2046 to unsubscribe.

I have no clue what this is... I got a text message saying "thank's JACQUI for visiting our website. claim your $100 free walmart gift card" but i have not visited any websites that had me put my phone number nor my name in... so I find it odd that they knew my name and my phone number. I called and it said that an operator would assist me soon. I figured it was a scam so I just hung up. Anyone actually followed through with the operator?

they texted me saying that i had won a 200 dollar gift card for walmart but they said that i could use the card anywhere and that didnt make any sense so i think that would be a scam.

They texted me and said "Hi ALEXIS, Thx 4 visiting our site" i didn't even visit a site so i don't understand this. It has to be a scam.

Please make these people stop calling me. I do not want anymore calls from them.

Got a text thanking me for visiting a site and offering me a walmart giftcard.  Texted back "STOP2081" to unsubscribe and got a confirmation text that included an email address for me to contact them with questions.  It comes from this site: http://www.smsrevenues.com/index.html which has the number on the site as well.

so i get this sms and i got scared bcos they used an alias of my name (i never use my real name on websites)...but thanks to the link posted about smsrevenues, i think i know how they got my alternate phone # (which i also use for whatever i am not sure of). it was tough to place my fingers since i have given this phony # to many car dealers, shipping companies etc, but i think they got it from a website that forced me to signup for a product b4 supposedly being able to watch my sports game. guess what? i signed up for 3 services, but they never allowed me to watch the game.

unknown to me, my macbook pro has rogue software that downloaded all my games automatically, so when i found out i cancelled 2 of the services and left netflix on (which i would cancel after watching all the episodes of "curb yr enthusiasm") so i never needed to sign up if i had double checked my programs on this mac...

so, did u sign up for any program/product? done all those stoopid iq test exams? ah, if u did...thats it right there.

this number texted me today, saying thanks for visiting their website.  But the name they were thanking was not me, it was my husband, who has his own cell phone, and doesn't use the computer hardly at all!  

So I don't know how they got it, but I texted "stop" back and I got a message that said I wouldn't receive anything else from them.  Hope I don't.  And I'm going to check my bill to make sure they didn't charge me for "premium texting"

I also received the same message offering a $200 walmart gift card. I didn't call back but I did text back stop. The reply I got was "you have opted out of payday SMS Revenue Alerts and will no longer receive msgs/charges. There is a website www.smsrevenues.com for more info. How do these people from other countries manage to get away with these illegal activities.

I don't look at the message as it costs me.  I just want them to stop.  How do I get them to stop?

Is a scam!!!!!!, the shipping cost 9.00 and just for a gift card?!!! they're cray, do not give them ur credit card #.

I got a text from 729329 saying, Thx 4 visiting our site Call 877-532-5968 to claim your FREE $200 Walmart Gift Card Voucher!!.......There is only one problem my name isn't FRANK, what a f-ing joke, wouldn't trust these a-wipes!!!

Got a call today for a Walmart gift card for 200.00 dollars. It's a scam they want your credit card number and they do sound like they are from another country.
