I called and was hung up on 2 times and 3rd time they said they would send voucher from Florida..(I live in WI) and they wanted a $9.99 shipping fee from a Credit Card. I told them Not Happening and hung up. I then Texted the stop number and they txtd me back that it was successful. Even if there was a text fee, it is better than what could/may happen.

I got the same thing, except it said my boyfriend's name won the gift card. Now I feel bad because I yelled at him for putting my number in anything and taking one of those stupid spam surveys. He probably didn't really do anything. lol. I knew it was fake right away. I hope I don't get charged with these texts, though. I unsubscribed this morning and didn't get the notification I did unsubscribe until late in the afternoon. Hmmmm....

Got a text from 729329. "thank you for visiting our site." No company name- no other identification. Just wondering how they got my cell phone number-it is unlisted! I don't put my number out there so I am curious.

Saw that my Sprint cell phone bill was charged an extra $9.99 for Premium Texting, on my husbands line.  Checked his phone and there was a text about a $200 Wal-Mart Card.  I replied with STOP!! Got the reply text that I was unsubscribed.  Will take advice of fellow posting and call Sprint and have all 3 party billings blocked for ALL lines on my plan.  What a big waste of my time and money!

I call that number and to get the card you have to pay 9.99 for shipping and handling. Then your card will be 190.00 they will sent you
If you don't pay they will hang up on you.

Got a text with my name that said Thx 4 visiting our site" and to call a number for a Walmart gift card. I definitely did not do anything on a website. SCAM!

I got this after clicking on a Facebook ad about Ugg boots. Last time I do that... (it put me through 3 pages of ads and at the end said nothing about Uggs!)

that was it...I knew that was a scam but I don't want to get billed for 3rd party charges seeing as I never entered my phone number for anything!  I already get too many calls why would I knowingly enter my phone on a website!

Thanks for all these postings! My boyfriend got a text like that. I thought he had signed up for something using another name to cover up his tracks. Now I know it was an unsolicited text and he is off the hook!

It's a credit card number scam. Goes to a call center in the Phillipines. If you give them your credit card number you get enrolled in something that charges you monthly.

how do you get this to stop-- ive gotten 5 of these today alone. i realize its a scam-- i have 0 interest in calling or opening-- if i reply to stop - -does it?  i think part of the scam is to get you to reply stop and somehow they make a few bucks--- this is as bad as ive seen.

I got one of these yesterday, have not replied in any way to it.  We have do not call list on our numbers but I guess that does not go for texting?  Those of you that got a Premium texting charge, was that just for them texting you?

I have read so far that someone on Sprint was charged the 'Premium' text fee from replying to be removed. But, someone else called their provider and was told there wouldn't be a charge and was advised to do it.. so when it doubt, call your provider before replying to be removed. Or, reply and if you get the fee have it removed then.

When I got this, I figured it was a prank from one of my friends... because they do that alot. But then I searched it, and found this. I prank called the foreign lady, too. It was pretty funny.

Since it was inconsistent with capital and lowercase and used slang, I was pessimistic, but thought there was no harm in calling to check it out.
The guy had an accent. He knew my address, full name, phone number, etc. He couldn't tell me where he got the information from. I asked the company name and he said "Discover Enterprises," not to be confused with "Discover" the credit card company. And I asked where he was from. He said they are in Phoenix. His name was supposedly "Alan Jones" employee ID "EA1126." I asked to transfer to someone else and asked the same question and got the same answer from another accented person. I asked them if I could please speak to someone who was born and raised in the US, and they said they would get someone. I was disconnected. I'm not paying $4.97 to get a gift card from someone who can't tell me where they got my info. This has SCAM written all over it.

I unforentantly got the same text messages and was foolish enough to call the number 323-429-7540 and spoke to a indian women by the supposed name of sarah at ex 12391 and give them my credit card number but when they had asked me to verify again through another person I just said forget it I am not interested. I hurried up and called my debit card company and told them to issue me a new card so that there would be no charges on my account. I am severely upset on how these people could take advantage of us at these poor times. I just hope that no activity will appear on my account.

I received a text message stating Hi Jessica THX 4 visiting our site call 877-706-6429 to claim your FREE 200.00 walmart gift voucher!  Gift code 188b0164 I called and spoke to a indian women by the name of sarah. She asked that I pay a 7.60 shipping fee for the package and that I was not getting 200.00 walmart voucher but a voucher of 40.00 for walmart and 100 for any other store location. I kept asking her how she got my name address and credit card info but she just it was because I had made a recent purchase at a local walmart store and my name happened to be drawn from the list. So me being the nieve person that i am confirmed that all the information that she had was correct but then she said she had to transfer me to another department to verify once again that my information was correct thats when I said to her that I was no longer interested and hung up. Then she called me again stating that why I was not interested I kept telling her that it was not something I felt comfortable with so she said that if i didnt verify my information that she would leak what she had to the public! So I yelled at her stating that it was fraud what she was doing and she hung up on me. I feel foolish for even calling the number but I have called my bank to issue me a new debit card as well as contating  Experian to put a fraud alert on my credit cards. I hope that I never have to come across this again.
