Call shows up from Norfolk VA. Never leaves message and calls once or twice a day.

This number called me 5 times in a row. They finally left a message and when I checked it, it was just a series of beeps for about a minute.

no message, just annoyance

I just got called

Recevied a call from this Norfolk, VA Number.  By process of deduciton, we believe the call to be orginated and associated with Identity theft from a Chinese women who resides in the Norfolk area and along with her  Asian associates are conducting identity thieft.  Earlier she and her Chinese associates hacked into our email account,  when we recovered the email, then she tried to elicit our password from the account using an email address that we could trace, also she created a false myspace page in China with our name. We have documentation on this.  We were hoping the Norfolk police would do something about this harassing and nusiance calls. We tried to talk with Nationline who distributes the number, but they were unwilling to help.

Have any of u posted stuff on craig's list? I did for the first time today and got two calls from this number.

No, have not posted on Craigslist and still got a call from this number.

We just turned in this phone number to: www.donotcall.gov   So far they have been able to stop three other callers we have turned in when you click on File a Complaint.

Received a call from this number 4/21/2011 - 'issues and answers' asking about drilling offshore of the state of Virginia - I agree with drilling; however, then female caller wanted to confirm the phone number and my first name - to which I stated I did not have time for that and hung up.  I do not give my name out etc to someone calling my number......

Called me today at  3:46pm...hung up.  Found it odd that they called on my Oregon line that only one person has the number for.  Maybe Verizon sold a list or something???

I have gotten more than 20 calls from 757-769-7127, always asking for my wife, by name, when I tell them she is at work, they just hang up, or say, thank you, we'll call back. Thanks everyone for the information and help to get them to stop calling. I have cancer and have lost a leg, so it is often difficult to get to the phone when it rings, so you can imagine my angst when it is someone as annoying as these people.

It is a survey/political action phone bank.

They tend to try to influence your voting by the survey they take.

It is a big waste of time and you will pick up on there agenda about 20-30 minutes in.

No, but I did respond to a job listing... perhaps it was all rubbish and I gave them all of my personal info :( They just called me 8:45PM stating he was from Issues & Answers, I just said I didn't have time and that was it.

I called the 800 234-7783 from an earlier post, you get a young lady named Maria. She puts you to a recorder to leave your name and number to get off the list. I called her 6 times so far in a 1 hr period. I can tell by her voice she is getting very aggravated but still sends me to recording. I suggest that everyone does as I am doing and calls over and over and just say "Maria, I want off the list" let's aggravate the aggravators a bit, its kinda fun....
