I keep getting a call from this number on my CELL PHONE at around 8/8:30 ...every night for about 4 nights now. What the heck?

This number called me in Atlanta...attempted to remove my number from the list last week but once again today, they are calling!!!

Keeps calling about loans. Wants bank information. Don't give information because it's automated.

I just received the call this afternoon and I don't know who would call my from VA!!!

Automated called saying that they only call once and to hang up if not interested.  Reported to the FCC.  Callback number (7579908981) only provides the ability to "remove" your number.  No live person available.

Karma is a b.....Stop calling me.

This call is by computer that tells you that there is nothing wrong with your Credit card accounts but you need to call them. I don't have a card, so it's a scam.  What they will do is try to sell you lower interest rates. If you respond to them with a lower than 5%, they can't match it and go away.

But if you say anything the differs from wanting to lower your interest rate, they will hang up immediately.

I have been unsuccessful in telling them to remove my number, after "we" find out they cannot lower my fake low rate.

I can't find out who "they" are. They have called two to three times per day, for the last couple of weeks.

I have even contacted the Kansas Better Business Bureau and they can't take a complaint because I don't have the required info on this company. I then contacted the Police Department and... same thing. The Police stated that they can not do anything when all that I have is a phone number and name off of the caller ID. I am turning this over to my lawyer to see if he can help, (I have no credit card accounts and this is UNLAWFUL solicitation.)

I tried to talk to the person on the other end of the line, you are right, they just hang up. I couldn't get the salespersons name, company name, ect. As a matter of fact, the last time I tried they informed me that I COULDN'T be REMOVED from their list and to blow it out my *put a curse word here*. I know cursing at me like that over the phone IS illegal and this is UNLAWFUL solicitation.

Also, I have noticed that the number changes every time they call...
(for example these are their last two number's off of my caller ID),
714-682-8307, then 757-990-8981.

(My friend just informed me that they have contacted him about a warranty expiring on his car, lol, his 1996 car is out of warranty and has been for almost 10 years now and his new 2006 is still under the factory warranty from the dealership! They hung up on him when he questioned them also.)

Hopefully someone can track these people down, I for one, would REALLY like to know who these people are!

Keeps calling my LV cell number and let's it go all the way to voicemail and then never leaves a message. When I call back (from a land line) I get a recording that tells me the number I am calling from with an option to remove it. How do you find out what phone company this number belongs to? This is really starting to get on my LAST NERVE!

Never got a call from this number before until today, but it has to be a scam seeing as how I have no idea who they are.

Googled the number, got this site, among others.  Tried White Pages reverse look up (http://www.whitepages.com/10583/reverse_phone/?source=GO000009&s_kwcid=629|854338022), which lists it as a cell phone.  

Call comes in as an automated call, tired to hang up, could not disconnect until well after the recorded message had run its loop.  This is becomming a common trend - tellermarketer/automated calls which you can't hang up on, and often take well over 5 minutes to finish their loop.  I have a call waiting, and have been unable to access my second line while these calls are running.  

If you see this number on your Caller ID box, just disconnect your phone line and save yourself some trouble.

Those who are getting these calls on your cell phone, your cell provider CAN block the number, however, you will need to contact your local law enforcement, lodge a complaint, get an incident number, and give that to your cell provider before they will do anything.

Some idiots trying to scam

call, no one there...after seconds hangs up....probably no live operator available to take calls, so they just get you ready and drop you...
at a time when the financial, military and environmental world is falling apart, someone should realistically put these people in jail.  the next call you get could be important, and these people continue to interfere.

This number called about satalite TV.

RECORDED MESSAGE: Don't hang up, this is a public service announcment (my eye) that cable companies will be raising their rates soon, blah blah blah......  Is it seriously a public service to call us with this kind of stuff.  I think NOT!!!!!!

This number has called me several times this week, I called it back and thought I had removed my #, no such luck.  I live in Metro Atlanta & they are calling about roof replacement for storm damage we had in the spring.
