Received a call on my cell from this number.  After a human said hello, he put a recording on that said my warranty was about to expire on my car and this was my last chance to extend it.  Said they needed to verify that I had satisfied all of the routine maintenance required to extend the warranty, at which point I hung up.

Call me on an almost daily basis, tried to get removed, tried to hit the DNC, neither helps.  Then I tried to get them ot give me more company info by being "interested in their help cosolidating my $8500 credit debt", but when they ask for my bank info and I ask for their website, I get hung up on.  They are very practiced doing this, they run under the name Card Services, and they don't give up any info.  I just wonder why no one can track this and take them to jail, as they have been calling on a DNC business phone line for months...

Not sure who or what they want. They keep insisting I am "Josh,Joshua or J Goodwin" or "E, Eva or Evette Santana".  I have tried to be nice and inform them that they have the wrong number, I have even told them that I was recording our conversation (which believe me, they do not like to hear) still did not work. So what I've done is placed "call interception" on my phone line (find details on Verisons website) which a service through Verizon.  It's worked thus far.  These types of mean spirited phone calls from evil agencies must stop.  I have a credit score over 800, I do not deserve this type of treatment nor does anyone going through difficult times during our national crisis.  Let's stick together, help each other and stop them.  Good luck to everyone!

This is one of many, many, many unwanted calls my husband and I receive on a daily basis. In the past the first thing out of my mouth has been "this call is being recorded to insure that you & the company you represent are following the FCC & FDCPA rules and regulations. This generally pisses them off and they tell me that they are not giving me premission to do so. So then I mention if they are not doing anything illegal there should be no reason for them not to allow my recording, after all, they are recording me. It seems as the ecomomy worsens, these people become more rude! Any phone company will let you block up to 12 numbers without charging. However as we are all aware, scum scammers like these people have 20 or more trunk line PBX switchboards and will only call you from a different number. I finally contacted my carrier (Verizon) and placed a service called "call intercept". I won't go into detail but it has been amazing. Here's the short verison for anyone interested: If a caller attempts to reach my phone and the caller ID is Private, Unknown, Out of Area, Unavailable etc... my phone won't even ring. A recorded message plays to the caller stating that the number they are trying to reach has "call intercept" and asks the caller to identify themselves and the company they are calling from. Only after the requested information has been provided will my phone ring with a special ring - kind of a "ring, ring" in rapid session. This ring type lets me know that it is a call intercept. I can choose to pick-up the phone and listen to who the caller is at which time I have 5 options; 1)take the call 2)block the call sorry, I've never gotten past yes or no so I'm not sure what the other options are.  If I am not home to answer the call intercept, the call will go to my voice mail.  I have found that once these scammers here the words call intercept, they hang up and the greatest part.... I never even hear my phone ring!
It's not free but the $5 Verison charges me is so worth not having to deal with the harrasment. It's worth a try for those of you out here that are or should I say "were" sick and tired of the rude, mean pushy people call everyday regarless of the time of day. Being nice to these people doesn't work - but trust me call intercept did the job for us.

    Good luck!

p.s: I don't not work for Verison or any other phone service - just in case anyone thought I was trying to sell you a service ;)

The numbers (757) 990-8981, (301) 223-0028, (804) 234-9010, (301) 882-9986 are calls about lowering your interest rates.  They are harrassing my mother's phone by calling several times a day.  I just made a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission like a person above.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE File a complaint against these numbers so that we can get some action.  Some of these numbers are registered in MD and VA so here are some numbers for the Attorney General in these states to file complaints as well VA (800) 552-9963 and MD (888) 743-0023.  Piece of mind is only a phone call away!!

DAVE, So now the idiots are the ones "hiring" you? Boy, you are a neanderthal! 'I was "forced" to infringe on your privacy, what was I to do..wah-wah!' The conversation went like this... 'We (Bank of America) can hire some idiots (Dave) to do our telemarketing, then he in turn can blame us to have a clear conscience.' I would love to hire some trash newspapers to snap pictures of his needle dick so they can say, 'Just doing our job Dave'...then pass out the magnifying glasses.

This is making me sick. You can't group every extended warranty company together there are good companies and I am sick of hearing this bull.  Most of you complainers out there don't listen or read your info.  There are three different warranties for all company’s -Full coverage-Power Train and engine plus-  if you get a power train it only covers the eng and tran axels that is it...So no wonder the air conditioner is not covered HELLO READ... You are stupid if you complain about all companies because there are really great extended warranties out there and YES THEY CALL YOU ON THE PHONE>>>> if my daughter didn't have the extended warranty (bought on the phone) she wouldn't have a car right now.  Over the last 3 years it has been in the shop 8 times over $6000 in repairs we paid $600 that’s it.  The dealer wanted us to buy a warranty and it wouldn't cover half of the stuff this company covered.  The Phone calls OH!! Yea!! Let’s put them out of business so we can pay their unemployment GET A GRIP ON REALITY!! You are the ones that complain about taxes-unemployment-bums-homeless-beggars but you want to take any chance these people have to support themselves and their families- SHAME ON YOU Hippocrates. Also To listen to a disgruntled former employee that was most likely was fired and is just resentful and trashing the company she/he worked for or maybe it is true in this case either way are you so ignorant that you would just assume they are all bad????
PS: The BBB was created by Al Capogne and anyone can say anything about any comp it is not researched
