Got a call here in AZ at 8PM,  after checking google and seeing all the sites listed there about this number, I am just totally amazed that NOBODY does anything to shut these jerks down.  What the hell do us tax payers have to do to wake the "Do Not Call" people who are charged to do something about these dang calls.  gurrrrrrr

Thank you all for the information. I just googled the number because I didn't know anyone in that area code. I actually work for the phone company and can track down where these calls are coming from. As a word of advice, use *57 right after they call to initiate call trace. This will flag the call for law enforcement.

well, been getting calls from this number all weekend, I never answered the phone here or did they leave a message, as the caller ID has been working overtime letting me know scammers are trying desperately to get their work done - hmm, time to record the scumbags #'s and give them to a good buddy at the Feds....!

Call to cell phone 2/25/09. Not familiar, so didn't answer. No message left. Google search led here; now added to my "phonespam" contact list.

I don't answer phone calls from unknown numbers and my number is listed on the National Do Not Call List, especially since they opened cell phone numbers to these ridiculous telemarketers. When I called it back it said that the number was out of service. What a joke. I wish that I could simply speak to someone to ask them to remove my number from their list.

I got a call on my cell about 10:12 am CST today, February 26, 2009. My son happen to had my phone, but end up rejecting the call accidently. I would like to know how this unknown company got my cell number. Do they even care that their calls takes people's minutes rather the person answers or not. People should not be able call other people cell phones when they know that the owner did not give it to them to call; as well as company that do sells people's phone numbers should be declared as an illegal action.

I even tried to call the anomynous company back about five times. The recording says, "We're sorry you have reached a number that is disconnected or is no longer in service. If you feel that you reached this recording is an error, please check the number and dial again". Immediately after the recording you get a busy tone.

These people keep calling and offering to give me a warranty on my car.

They called my house twice in the past hour. The first time I wasn't home and the second time I didn't answer. My Call ID says Sales Dept. I called back and it said number has been disconnected. Is there anything I can do about this?

Called on my home phone in Henderson, Nevada.  Left no message on my machine.

spoofed number received at a business office phone 03-02-09 at about 11:50am cst.

Recording for reducing credit card percentages then asked to  press 1 for operator about opportunity or press 2 to be removed from future calls.  

I pressed 1 to get more info to list on this anti-telemarketing site (and others) and it never even connected me to an operator and then just disconnected. DUH! so these phone spammers own tatics don't even work...what if I was a completely stupid person ready to fall for their garbage sale?

A voice recording offering me a low percentage on a credit card.  Stating that my card is not late, just wanted to give me this offer.  I hung up.

They want to extend my car warranty I haven't had a car in years

telling me my warranty is about to expire. I get them at least twice per week on my cell which is on the do not call list

I have been receiving calls from this "unknown caller for the past few weeks - sometimes 3 and 4 times a day.   Every time I answer I get a pre-recorded message stating to some effect that this is my final chance to extend my warrantee.   I have been hanging up, but tonight stayed on the line for a few moments and got the automated, "Press one to...."   When I did not press any number a person answered, put me on hold then terminated the call after a very short time.   If you have been getting calls from this number, please report it to the FCC (www.fcc.gov).   Maybe if enough of us complain they'll take some action.   They'll want to know any specifics you have about the call, i.e. date, time, caller id references, etc. when you report.
