Hi all this is a call from mail Call "Phone option"

What the Hell. i get call from this number atleast thrice a day.I am really pissed offf.I loved google untill this time.But why the hell are they making Phone users life a misery.They should really stop this bloddy service

someone called using this app and left a very rude, sexually explicite and vulgar message on my cell phone

this crazy man sounds white about 44 yrs or up sounds like he is on drugs keeps calling my phone. has been doing it four about 3 weeks now. might be my aunt Janets connvict boyfriend Shane Ranker.

that is so weird bc I just got a call from the same umber from sme cracked out man,, he called me b4 about 3 weeks ago til the present, bu has always blocked his number until today.. freaky

Got a call from this number, from someone with a heavy Indian accent who apparently spoke decent English, but the connection was so bad I couldn't understand when he gave his name or said pretty much anything - I could tell he was talking but could not make out the actual words.  Gave up and told him to call back from a landline after asking him to repeat his name and tell me who he was trying to reach by about the 6th or 7th time.  This is going to cause a lot of people a lot of hassle, and be regarded by prankers and stalkers as a goldmine for good times (bad for their targets, of course).  Unless actual call tracking was implemented on the user level (who's calling me?), Google really screwed this one up.

I call it back and the number comes up as disconnected. Only calls once. I was not home but picked it up off my caller id with no name. Wierd!

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming to be from the Health Dept. I said: "You're calling from a California number to a number in New Mexico, on a Sunday evening, on a holiday weekend? Yeah, right!" He hung up.

I just got a call from the same California number to my restaurant in Utah – he stated the same thing about an inspection and said it was happening Tuesday and then had a craigslist confirmation automatic message call us back! The recording left a number – who are these people?

It is hilarious that people think Google invented this (Voice over IP or VOIP).  This app has been around for a while in services such as Skype.  The only real difference is that Google has made it available to use to call any Canadian or American phone number at no cost, whereby a Skype user has to pay a monthly fee or per minute fee for the use of it.

Windows Live Messenger has the same functionality via Windows Live Call though it appears their service was discontinued about 6 months ago.

When it comes to prank calls, and other uses for the service, don't worry about it, but instead contact your state/provincial/federal representatives and perhaps see what can be done regarding getting a grand jury to indict Google and subpoena the company for the call records for the service, and then it is a simple matter to go after whoever is pranking.  Each call will be tied to a google account and an IP address, so unless the pranker is accessing someone else's internet connection you can generally find out who is doing the act.

Considering Google has been and is being indicted on other charges, here's just one more thing Google will have to deal with.

This is messed up. Why would you want to do this to some1. Is your life that messed up that you have to try disturbing others...... Gettin a grip on urs 2 hard 4 u or what!!!!!!!!

we recieved 10 calls in a row on 9-4-10 from this number & 5 or 6 calls on 9-7-10, not including several threatening voicemails. we dont know who it is. but, it needs to stop

Why Google? Why? This has created a Pandora's Box.  I keep getting calls from this Google number and it is annoying.  I don't care if this is someone who knows me calling me from their computer.  Call me from your number so I can identify you.  This is so not cool.
