I received one of these phone calls last night at 8 pm saying if I didn't go to the court house by 12 pm today they were putting a warrant out for my arrest. Come to find out Saturday morning I found out it was a friend of mine prank calling me. Don't be scared about these calls most likely it's someone you know calling you. This man will get what he deserves trust me.

The guy told me he could give me a device to lower my electricity bill by 30 % if i give a deposit (no amount mentionned) he gave me a web site. www.planetsavercanada.com.  I tried very hard to convinced me to take it and i couldn't understand anything he was saying, he was very incoherent because of his strong accent.  When i said i wasn't interested, he said it's not a good answer, i repeated my self he finally hang up. I thought that it was weird that he was calling from Quebec but wasn't able to get someone to speak French or have someone who spoke French to help understand what he was talking about. He accent was very very hard to understand even though i do speak and understand english very well. i do think in was calling from India.

I met a guy and now he won't stop calling me.  He called me from this number 5 times today pretending to be an FBI agent threatening to take my kids from me if I didn't talk to his nephew. I'm so glad this site is here and I was able to look up this number to find out. His name is Justus and he's from Texas City.

Got a call today @ 4:35pm EST.  Caller opened and stated they were calling from the 'Internet Traffic control of Canada'.  Then they asked to speak with the owner of the computer, I informed the owner was away, and I would be happy to take a message, they declined the message and said would call back.

I received a call from this number yesterday about 2:50 p.m.  When I told them my husband Raj & I said he no longer lives at this address  She said she was calling from the government & had to speak with him at that Time I hung up.  She called back &  swore: at me:    she  said "Fu....U". then hung up.

This is just the number that Google uses to connect their service to a landline or cell number.  If someone uses Google mail and places a free phone call it will show up as 760-705-8888 on the caller ID of the person being called.  If they do not recognize the number they will most likely not answer it.  If they answer it and the computer caller does not have his mic set up right and the called party cannot hear you talking they will assume it is a prank or sales call and they will get annoyed.

The best thing to do when setting up Google phone is to first call the party from your cell or landline phone and inform them that you will be testing a new computer phone system.  Tell them that the number that will show up on their caller ID is 776-705-8888 so they will know it is you if if your mic is not working.

Most people who are annoyed at someone calling them, and this number shows up on their caller ID, it is most likely a friend or family member that is trying to set up Google phone but their mic is not configured properly.

It takes some tweaking and test calls before everything works properly, but it should'nt take much because your computer will detect the software and automatically set it all up.  Just make sure you download and install all the required software to allow it all to work.

This number keeps calling my parents claiming to be their grandchild in need of money. My parents are to smart to fall for it so they need to stop. I'm going to call this into the authorities to let them know.

This number is calling asking to have money wired to get someone out of jail.  I also have a working phone number that they left when I pretended I would send the money.

Go to google help, send them an email along with the phone number that calls you and your complaint.

Got a call from this number said he was my grandson and needed money to get out of jail. Said it was from Canada on my caller ID

A young man says "Grandpa, it's me.  Don't you recognize my voice, it's me."

When I told him I didn't have a grandson, he hung up immediately.

I'm getting a call from this number every night around 3AM.  Completely annoying.  Does anyone know if it is possible to have this # blocked?
