got a call from this number and they were pretending to be santa. thought it was a friend of my boyfriends playing a joke since my bf got a call from the same number but didnt answer it. i played along, but i still don't know who it was. the friend seems completely oblivious. if it's from a gmail account, it has to be someone we know, i would think...

Yeah! Its Google, but you can tell it to give the caller ID of your phone. Use Google Voice. I always let it go to voice mail. Everyone knows I'll call them back after reading what they left by voice as Google converts voice to text. Better ex-  /  spam protection.

well this number are some young men who make vulgar prank calls ALL THE TIME !!

got a call from this # claiming he was my son scott but kept calling me grand pa or uncle.saID HE WAS IN JAIL IN CANNADA and needed a large sum of money to get him out on bail.When i pressed on the issue he hung up.google needs to do something about this 'it not only violates trust but opens the door for scammers and pranksters not being able to trace the calls.Google i think u need to evulate some more before law suits start coming your way,this setup is allowing people misuse and abuse our private phone lines

Maura Collins is a gmail account where ppl use to make voice calls. My fiancée calls from Iraq using the same number with Maura Collins as the name on the caller. It caused an argument between us coz I thought he was using a females number. Lol... After seeing this post from y'all I have to go back and apologize!!!! Thanks google u Jerk ;)

It is one of your friends using google voice! It is a free telephone service so just answer the call! What can it cost you to pick up the phone!

I getting  treatening  and harrasing  calls  from  a woman name  Woodie  Colbert .  I kick  her out my house  back  on March 2011  and i have  recorded message to prove it.

i get calls from this number also i answer it and ask who it is and i get no responce how do i stop getting calls from this number?

File complaints against google....they even called my computer store and said they needed remote access to my pc in order to stop my pc from bogging down their servers...some foreign voice, and persistent on top of that....I asked him, will you give me remote access to your pc so i can shut you down?? he terminated the call right there.

I think the Nigerians are now using this number to call from and running romance scams on it

I went  and flagged the call on my providers dashboard and send them st8 to voice-mail!

I hear these calls are coming from 706 705 8888 a goggle #.  Contact them at security@google.com.  Its from Google gmail or talk, however Google designed this system with major flaws alloying folks to be harassed and telemarketer from un- identified parties. I must inform Google to stop the feature goggle talk before its linked to crime , murder or rape. I see online these number has been harassing hundreds of folks and class action lawsuit is on its way.

Someone called me from 760-705-8888 on Sat, Jan 7th, at 10:04 AM. I answered and said Hello, and then the other party just hung-up on me.

It's just a Google Voice error.

The name in caller ID is maura collins. When I call the # the messagesays this # does not accept calls.
