Dudes its the phone service from gmail you can place a call from your computer to mobile and home phones

This number just called my mobile phone. Didn't pick up. (I'm in BC, Canada)
Read the comments to see if it was a spammer. It is...glad I didn't pick up : )

Shocked me out of my sleep around 3am this morning; then it rang back again around 3:30 I have a sick father in South America, so when my phone rings that early I panicked thinking something has happened to my father.....very annoying

This stupid idiot called f'n 7 time within 5 five minutes. speaking middle eastern or indian or similar language. sure pissed my wife off since she was super sleepy so she cussed that dude out and all he did was giggle so he calls back and she just left it on so he was like "hello hello". Stupid [***]! Get a [***] life>

We got a call from this number. My boyfriend couldn't understand it so he handed me the phone. When I said hello the response was "Laugh Out Loud". I said excuse me? It said Laugh out loud again. I said who is this and it said "This is Charles(or something) Anderson from NBC dateline or something like that. I asked who again, I got the same response. Then the Laugh out loud again followed by the Name again. It took me a sec to realize that it was a computer generated voice so no clue who it was. When my boyfriend asked me who it was I was saying I didn't know and was going to pull up the caller Id on the TV and check the number, it came out with Jesus rocks and hung up. That's not a major thing but it borders on creepy and is def. weird

Got threatening calls from this #, Google needs to do something about this, there seems to be no way to find out who it is, and when threats of Violence or other assaults ac cure, it becomes a legal matter, and Google is basically allowing it, so are they any better ?

No way am I downloading any google app, google voice, google anything.  This number is a scam wanting email, address, family names, bank accounts.  No protection from Do Not Call registry, the worst scam of all.

This Number keeps calling my home number and my cell? have no idea how they got both my home and cell numbers? I answered it and I caould not understand a word the guy said besides my name please help them to stop calling me I am not giving anyon my "MONEY!"

We keep getting harassing calls from 760 705 8888. I made a police report, detectives are looking into it. I'd like to know how to trace who it is, besides just putting in a complaint to Google after learning that this is a service Google provides to allow callers to beard their actual phone number.

just got a call from this number but no one said anything confused as why and how they got number or who it is

Sister answered phone at 10:44 a.m., was this number.  Some man claimed he was her favorite nephew and wanted to talk to Grandma.  She asked for his name, he kept claiming that he was her favorite nephew...she told him none of her nephews would pull this teasing stuff and demanded his name.  He told her his name was Chris, or Kris...however it is spelled, and when she refused to take the phone to our mother he offered to lick her all over.  She told him to NEVER CALL HERE AGAIN and told him if he did she'd call the police.  She called the police anyway to document the call and they told her that if you tell someone to never call again, and they do...when they get caught it can be held as a charge in court.

First time we got called by this number was about a year, which I answered.  The person was male and sounded all happy and giggly and asked for Grandma.  I asked who it was and after some running around he finally said his name was Michael.  I told him we did not have anyone named Michael in our family and he must have misdialed, He hung up.

About a week after that, same number, same voice.  I told him he misdialed again, this was not his grandmother's house.  He then got pornographic so I told him to call his grandma, don't ever call here again or I would call the police to let them know we'd gotten a harrassing phone call.  I hung up on him then googled the number.
 
What an introduction to what could be a good service.
I've warned people in my family about the number, that there are times it could be legitimately someone calling from their email but pretty much the ones we've gotten are harrasing calls and family members pretty much use other means of calling.

I"m getting calls throughout the day from 760 705 8888 and when i anwer, noone answers. This is very annoying
