Received a abusive call at 03:02 am (Indian Standerd Time). I would like to know how to trace the call. If companies can't control technology, they don't have the right to sell it.

Calls come in the middle of the night when we are trying to sleep! This has happenned often from this number.

just got a call from 7-777-777-7777...caller said he was from sprint long distance....tele marketer....and from india. best of my knowledge it is against the law for tele marketers from hiding there caller id.

some guy called from 777-777-7777 and asked for Alexis when I told him he had wrong number he asked if I lived in city and state which I do. He said he was from Freelance Photography this sounds like a scam.

My husband and I have received these calls and we know they come from his lunatic ex-wife, Michelle.  She actually admitted to making these calls from her computer about a year ago claiming that it was a "GPS Tracking Device".  We highly doubt that.

Received calls trice after a minuts interval...seems somebody was calling from some vehical or plane (back ground noise)

A FRIEND CALLS ME FROM HIS EMPLOYERS PHONE AND HE WORKS FOR THE US GOVERNMENT - SPECIFICALLY - FOR A DRUG ENFORCMENT AGENCY - SO ....I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU IF YOU ARE GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND YOU DONT HAVE A CLUE,      MAYBE  GET ONE  ...

I just received a call from 777-777-7777 and it was a call from Sprint AT&T pitching a 'free phone' gimmick.  I reported them to the do not call list.  Pathetic!!!

the 777 777 7777 is a yahoo messenger "phone caller"  they buy a number and for .01 a minute he/she call call all over north america..

Indian called telling me about a $150 phone for free. Told me it would be shipped to my house and activated for free.

Same, I think Seth (4/11/08) is right. I received this number 1 777 777 7777 and I believe this is a number calling from Yahoo messenger.  Caller tried to hide their ID. Would they bill my phone bill if I answered this call? Anybody.

Now some of you should know, that YAHOO instant messenger allows you to make ld phone callsover IP (voip), and you can do it from your computer to any telephone  - land or cell.  A lot of folks are abusing it.  Even so, you have the choice of typing in a phone number that you want the receipient to see on their caller ID.  This masks your computer name.  In the case of all 7's, this is a common practice.  My best friend did it, to me.  If I were any of you, most of the time, just ignore the call, and not answer it.

this number was claimed to have came from Russia as either a calling card number or from a pay phone.  How could this be when this nature doesn't match what others have experienced from this?  This seems like a fictitious plan!
