I'm a Bell customer - Never been Rogers

Says it's Air Miles - Press 1 to collect free air miles...

Just got a call from this number. I'm with MTS (Manitoba). I never pick up if I don't recognize the number. This is why.

Got this call just now 2:51 pm in Toronto Ontario. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. By the posts here I assume this was so annoying telemarketer.
How can we stop these [***]???

Received a call from this number (3:35pm MDT, Aug. 6) and never picked up. Called the number back and an automated message told me it was not in service.

how may people got this call i am scared they might call me again i never am glad i never picked up the phone this scam is so wrong i am never picking up the phone again un lease i know that person

Got a call from this number at work (University phone) at about 2:00 pm. nobody spoke and I hung up

u get charged like $2.50 and lots of people foll for it just look at the reviwes so many people fell for it and btw i got this call to times on my cell and home phone

just got a call from then at 3:06 central time in Manitoba, i didnt answer. they are calling my place of employment.. they called last week to. ill never asnwer but it certainly is annoying!

these people that do this are so mean i want to kick a big fat elephant up thier as meanies

Out and out scam artists; third call on my cell. Robdailer with "You have won 24,000 airmiles."  Run away from these people. They are not connected with air miles or any other affilate program. All they want is your credit card info.

I just got a call from this number at 10:11am

answered the call but it disconnected.

I got a call from this number today 3:30 bc time.  I am a telus customer, not rogers, never was a rogers customer.  I did not answer it

Got the call tonight, "Air Miles" "Press 1" scam.

Hung up after the hurriedly spoken automated voice finished.

I see a lot of rogers customers got this call.

I guess Bell customers are no longer safe either. Tried call back and says disconnected.

Answering others' questions... Rogers is likely not selling your number to a third party here.  The company is using a random dialer to make the calls.  The first three digits of your phone number after the area code are designated to different companies; for example, 403-615-xxxx is Rogers.  It would not be difficult to robo-dial all the numbers in this scam.  They are also spoofing their number somehow.   Key is that Rogers is not going to market to you this way - it's a scam.

As soon as I saw the number, I rejected the call. I'm suspicious of numbers that look "fancy" like this one ending in 8988.

They called and hung up after I answered.  Suspect robocall.
