They left message as i did not want to pick up as it's always the same or usual telemarketers who only use automatic calling.

It was for car warranty renewal but they pretend it's from your own car waranty center. Don't fall for scams, always call your own car center if you suspect before you give credit cards or any info to people calling you.

Why did we all receive a call from this number within the past day?

I got a call from 785-890-8855 at 11:59 on 7/25/08. I didn't answer. Now I know I would've been wasting my time.

number keeps calling my private cell # -- unsolicited

Got a number from 785-890-8855 i picked up but no one was on the other line, called back and # was disconected,  serched the number and said it was from goodland ks, lance hays.  who knows

Just received a call on my cell from this number which led me to this site. Weird

Scam.  How did these jerks get my cell phone number?  This is the second call I got from 785-890-8855, even though I told them to remove my name/number last time.  The guy says the company is "Allied Warranty" and they are based in "south Florida."  By the his accent, it sounded like he was calling from downtown Brooklyn.  He refused to give me their main phone number even though I asked for it repeatedly.  He said I don't need that info.  What a bunch of BS.

God I just hope I can get through.  When I get a hold of someone after pressing "1" I'm gonna go through with the whole sales pitch crap and stop short of giving out my financial info.  Then I want to get a phone number or two where I can call- and call - and call - and call every single God dammed day at all hours for 7 fu**ing months straight!!!  What a pain in my A$$!  They need to stop.  I know where to call if I need these services.  I swear, if I get a phone number I'm gonna post it here for all of you to call too!

Total car warranty scam.  I don't think they even knew what my name was, but said today is my last day to pay $2600 for a car warranty, and I can't think about it and call back, I had to make a decision on the phone.  I said "well then I'm definitely not interested" and they hung up.

I returned the call and got an answer and it was a nursery school and the woman who answered has been receiving calls for hours and it has gotten so bad that she is closing for the day and going home.
I felt sorry for her because she said she is not making any calls but she keeps getting call backs from people all over the country.

Happy to report I went to the address in Kansas and shot some guy in the chest. He looked like a Lance so I blasted him. Anyhow hopefully the calls stop. What else can you do in a country where law enforcement and proper authorities are such a joke.

Ive gotten this call too.  Another number (same scam) is 509-779-4543.  I am even on the do not call list!  I've done research and found out that if you leased a car with Toyota, they sold their client list to a third party.  Everyone should make complaints to the Better Business Bureau...I had this lease nearly three years ago and have received the calls weekly for THREE YEARS!  Not cool.  I am finally doing something about it and you should too!
