Got a pink card in the mail with this phone 1800-230-2750 saying that I recently closed with my mortgage company (which I did) and I need to call them about an important matter. They also gave a Mortgage ID#. I called my Mortgage company and they said that they did not send anything in the mail. Also, they would have sent me an official letter not a card. People are out to get you one way or another. Get a real job and work hard for your money and leave us alone!

Exact same as Sheryl on 11 Apr 2017.... Clearly a scam.  Received a pink card with very little information.    THROW IT IN THE TRASH!!!!

I too received the "pink card" that they closed on my mortgage with my current lien holder.... will now shred it!.. thank you everyone for your input!

this is a scam for recently closed mortgage loans.  stay away.

I received my pink card today.  The company name assigned to the toll free number is Mortgage Protection Services.  I googled the company, and people have been complaining about them for several years.

Same story but a yellow card!  Must have ran out of pink stock.

Yellow card - at the bottom right of the card in little print is a statement saying they are Mortgage Protection Services and not affiliated to the person's mortgage company. It must work on some people if they've been doing this for a long period of time and is legitimate since they made this statement. They probably sift through public records to get their information.

I got one too. It's been years since I've closed on a mortgage so I'm worried about identity theft.

Me too pink card, white card and letter on Florescent pink paper called lender not them! Beware!!!

Per loan officer once its recorded within your jurisdiction it becomes public knowledge - they have "customer service" ppl searching thru record rooms for closed mortgages!

Same as Sheryi Smith but card color is yellow. Luckily check Google to find the truth.

Same pink card as mentioned. I dialed the number and first thing it requests is mortgage ID. Didn't feel like surrendering that information so hung up. Sounds like a scam to me. Stupid....

These guts pulled up at my house and handed it to me. I reactively wrote upset email to my lender thinking they were scamming me. These guys geeze
