- Call type: Unwanted
- Liddle BobI got a pink card. No return address or company name. Same message as others have reported. In fine print at the bottom, it says "Mortgage Protection Services. Not affiliated with (my lender)." They must be running behind, I obtained this mortgage several years ago.
These people are fishing for suckers, they are trying to sell you Mortgage Protection Insurance, which is a high-priced / high profit Life Insurance. If you need Life Insurance, talk to a reputable insurance agent, don't bother calling these jackals. I found a website that was titled "Sell MPI and make Six Figures!" It is a great money-maker for the sales agents, but there are a LOT better insurance products out there for the consumer.- Caller: Mortgage Protection Services
- SbsSame-pink card with no info, scam
- Caller: 800-230-8750
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- RandomGot the pink slip also. Last time I closed my loan with my bank was 15 years ago. I guess I will go to my bank to make sure that no one got my info.
- Caller: No call
- DMKentuckyGot my card two days ago. I immediately suspected it as spam since my mortgage is NOT closed. I did send a picture of the card to my mortgage provider asking them to notify all their customers of this scam. Since the governments, USPS, or any other agency won't do anything, maybe the mortgage companies can.

- CosmoMy card was yellow, same text as above.
- BenjaminFine print says, " All information provided by Mortgage Protection Services, 800-230-8750. Not affiliated with , sponsored by, and loan information not provided by your current lender.
I suggest that they are gleaning newly filed property records in attempts to sell possible bogus life insurance- Call type: Scam suspicion
- R PGot the same card, only it was yellow. Immediately suspicious since we switched mortgage companies years ago. Don't ever just call the phone number in these cases. As some smart people did above, contact your actual mortgage company directly with a known good number.
