I received a letter from AVC travel that I won a prize. and gave a phone number  of 1-800-309-8595. checked on line and fond out that this is a scam.  just wanted to report it please be careful if you receive a letter just ignore it...

Got the same letter-that I won a contest I didn't enter, with hotel vouchers and boarding pass for a cruise saying it was worth a 'minimum of $1295.  Obviously a hoax, since I have won real prizes and the first thing they do is have you fill out and sign forms for taxes and THEN they send the prizes.

Is this a scam i received a letter saying i won a cruise ..i  see that everyone saying that it's a scam .

So, What Happen?

I did put my name in when I called the lady told me wherr I put my name in at what mall. We have an appointment for the 26 th. The way we see it worst case its a scam and we traveled two hours but hey we wanted to go out of town anyways. Best case like a lot of people have stated while I researched this company I win a trip and possibly some money. :) yall have a blessed day

i got a blue card today nov 23 2012 what shuld i do

With the volatility of today, they risk getting killed. Personally, it pisses me off, this fedral mail fraud. It seems it involves several con artist. All under Silverleaf Resorts, they'll probably just change names again.
