    Man caller with a heavy accent of some sort called me Sir, said something about completing the transfer & the call may be recorded.  I said "I don't know who you are, I can't understand what you're saying, and I don't want to be recorded."  I hung up.

    I am in the process of changing my service from one phone to another via Tracfone and this is the number that they called me from.  I don't know about the rest of you but it was a valid call for me and it was an English-speaking, well-spoken lady that left the message.  They called my home phone, my cell and then left a voice mail.

    I was understandably suspicisious because of all the reasons above....strange number, strange accent, wanting phone account information etc... He said he was from StraightTalk.  I was having my phone number transferred from Aasurence Wireless to StraightTalk and he is asking for my Assurence Wireless account number.  I had entered the phone number as the account number as that is what I thought it was....wrong!  The man made a three way call with Assurence and I obtained the correct number from him.  All was good, the number is legit.

    He is correct. I was transferring my number from Verizon to straight talk. We got disconnected as Verizon gets no service in my house. That is the number they were calling from.

    Unable to understand due to heavy accent, think it is Straight Talk # because I recently reported to them via email that I could not understand their CS rep. Then I get this call.  Still cannot understand them. I speak English.

    The call was from Tracfone, which also handles StraightTalk. Earlier, I had initiated a phone# transfer from my current carrier to StraightTalk, so this call was legitimate, though the voicemail was hard to understand with their saying something about a transfer and needing more information. I returned the call to the number they provided in the voicemail and all was legitimate.

    Left a message. Couldn't understand it, it sounded like they had a towel shoved in their mouth..it was so mumbled and quiet. If it is from straightalk, I don't know why I am receiving this call. I am with Verizon and have never once requested to transfer.

    Calls every morning on my cell phone.  I don't recognize the number, so I don't answer.    A male voice with a very heavy accent leaves a message, but I can't understand a word he says.  So I delete the message.    There must be some way to block telemarketer calls?

    Have had ST for 4 years with no problems. Have never received any type of communication from them. Always buy refill card at Walmart and have never refilled on website or provided credit/debit card info. Hope ST does not call me.
